- Today, I’m sharing a more relaxed approach to homemaking-embracing those "well enough" days. After turning 50 and starting my CZcams journey, I’ve realized that not every day needs to be perfect. Sometimes, doing what you can is more than enough.
In this video, you’ll see me tackle tasks like folding laundry, sorting socks, and rinsing dishes-all while spending quality time with my husband. It's about finding balance and giving yourself grace. Remember, having days where you do what you can is okay.

I use to be a perfectionist. Had trouble starting task if I couldn’t do perfectly. One day my boyfriend told me done is better than perfect.
As a women who raised eight kids I always felt like all eyes were on me. I felt the need to be the perfect mother, wife homemaker. As I got older as I am now and slower. Things trended to far backwards and was more often than not messy. I am on a journey to make things better. Not perfect. But not a horrible mess. He is correct done is better.

Yes, six . I love them but they sure do create a bunch of extra work.

Aww love your furbabies Jenn we got a ginger cat did have a mum but she passed and we got our little fox terrier girl but lost our beloved Jack Russell terrier a year ago! We couldn't do without our furbabies😊

Hi Jenn it would be too boring alright even though we all go through the pain of loss of our pets it's always been worth it we wouldn't have it any other way! And Thank you too for your awesome videos I find I'm waiting to see your videos, watch them then next minute I'm straight in to it which is unheard of as I use to say I'll do later now I'm literally in to it so very motivating to me. Awesome video!! True wisdom, well said! There are many kinds of cleaning. Sometimes I do what my granny called 'give it a lick and a promise'. Quick lick now and a promise to do better next time. Sometimes I do what I call 'the flight of the bumblebee'. Also, there are times when no cleaning is done and that is ok too. I seen a little sign once that said 'my home is clean enough to be healthy and dirty enough to be happy' that pretty much sums things up for me. Its the family in the house, not the house that really matters. You are an awesome mom and grandma Jenn! 💜👍💜🥰

@@lovemrs.g you have never 'dropped the ball' since I have known you! Dropping the ball is like not caring about anyone or anything. It has nothing to do with whether or not your dishes are done!

I told my 8yo that if he doesn’t turn his clothes out right side, he can do his laundry lol I’m tired of turning every single piece of clothing right side. He realized after one load 🤣
I figure when Mama is tired and she isn't feeling it one of two things can happen. I wash and fold them as they were left (Yes even by me) or I deposit them unfolded on their beds. No one complains in any regard. They know better 🤣😂
