- Despite limited exposure to this group so far, we really like what we hear from them. Their vocals seem soft and feminine and it's just very pleasing to listen to them sing. This is Kep1er with "Shooting Star".

Thankyou for your reaction to Kep1er. The Ladies are all incredibly talented. I was so happy for you to recognise my bias Dayeon. Ever since she led the Ice Cream team in Girls Planet 999. Which she also chereographed. She has been my bias. She also wrote the rap to Shooting Star. Dayeon is a incredible dancer, rapper and vocalist. Us Kep1ians will miss Mashiro and Yeseo. Their agency didn't extend their contract like the other 7 agencies did. They will join the 3 Girls at Limelight., at the end of the current contract. Which is very close. A very emotional time for Kep1er and us Kep1ans. We Will miss Mashiro and Yeseo in Kep1er. I will now follow Limelight as well. It is also the 1'st time a project group has successfully extended their contract.
def talented girls !! i guess u still didnt heard their bsides of this album that is just incredible and magical at the beginning but at the end its just so fun and want to dance and the album is ended by a sweet balad . kep1er has never failed in terms of bsides and again they proved us with this album !
Belated happy 4th July! Eite had a single called Independent Woman last year, and the soloist YooA (from Oh My Girl, who should be on your radar) and the 'global' group XG have also had singles called Shooting Star relatively recently. Kpop MVs with fireworks in are too numerous to mention.
Yes Kep1er will continue as a 7 member group. Mashiro and Yeseo will not return as their management company did not agree to continue with Kep1er. I will miss OT9 but wish them well.
This song was meant to be their disbandment song, but tuned out to be a farewell to those two.

This was supposed to be their last mv before they disband but they somehow got an extended contract and kept going but only 7/9 members agree on the contract. 2 will not resign. Dayeon, yes that is her. She was rank one in all rounder skills during the survival show base on talent. Especially dancing
Dayeon...yes, that's her. She is certainly one that has stood out in the ones we've watched. Although in fairness, that group has a lot of talent all around.
Most K-Pop Groups are temporary. By seven years most disbanded.

This song hits me in the feels everytime. I'm happy Hikaru gets to keep going with this team, as getting cut from XG was really hard for her. And I'm happy for Yeseo and Mashiro as they get to join the great Limelight family, but sad that they have to leave Kepler. Espescially Yeseo who lived through much unpleasantness with Busters but still had the courage te re-debut here!

I loved this video I've never seen y'all before but I love kep1er and was so happy to hear y'all love yujin I've been following her since CLC's 2-3rd comeback but actually got into gp999 from an article talking about how Chaehyun looked like Wendy from red velvet and was so happy when she was in the show and knew she would debut because she really does have idol energy.
But yes kep1er will continue as 7 the members mashiro and yeseo have left as of the 16th and will be in a new group called madein under their original company the other 7 (yujin, xiaoting, Chaehyun, dayeon, hiyyih, hikaru, and youngeun) will continue their promotions as kep1er we don't really know how long tho.
That's good info. Hopefully they will continue on for a while. They are making some really good music.

First off, way to go losing 43 pounds, that's pretty good. Secondly, yeah, Kep1er is good, but, if you're going to just get a bunch of great singers and dancers and put them all in the same group, well... ;) My first instinct with large groups has always been a no, but K-pop has made me carve out exceptions.
Thank you! Still more to go but working on it. When we first started watching K-pop we though anything more than 4 or 5 was too much. But these larger groups do have a certain visual appeal to the choreography. Having said that, it does give less time for each person to shine, which is the drawback.

One of the reasons Blackpink is so popular is that there are only 4 of them and they're distinctly different in look and vocals, so it's easy to get to know them. With larger groups it's hard for fans to make that personal connection with the group. I think that's why YG spent so much time, money and effort on introducing the individual members of Baby Monster. I mean, don't you feel a more personal connection to them than, say, Twice? Both are very talented, but we really got to know BM. Like I've said, YG surprised me with their excellent marketing of BM, since they've never been known for that.
@@mikkj1 Yes, agreed that they seem to have done a really nice job with marketing BM. They are the first group we've seen from the beginning, but if that is not the norm, then it should be the new standard because it absolutely helps.
