@@nowhereman6360 That he wasn’t the only one killing friendlies doesn’t surprise me either. It’s part of why OX is fun to watch. Hysterical banter with the usual gameplay shenanigans.
In Mike’s defense, Andy should have gone to cover, not strafed. Hard to have good trigger discipline when your buddy jumps in front of your shot.

The stars are for secondary-objectives. The game doesn't care how many times you die as long as you still extract.
The game doesn't care if you extract. Only if you get the job done.
Democracy doesn't care if you live, only if you succeed!
Did anybody else notice Andy forgot to mute himself when Travis-Bot joined? Jane and Mike were muted, so the intern would only have been able to hear Andy's side of their conversation 😅

Ah yes. I love how the arc gun kicks off some friendly fire right at the start. Just LOVE that gun. NEVER get friendly fire with that thing. Nope.
Chain lightning being dangerous to teammates is definitely not true in any game and you don't need to spend a lot of time thinking about it.

I definitely thought Helldivers was a underwater scubadiving game.
Obviously I hadnt seen any actual gameplay.

@@extonjonas6820 I'd heard people mention how good it was. I think I figured it was a mission based underwater co-op game.
Doesn't help that I first heard it mentioned on Eurogamer's 'Skull and Bones' stream. That reinforced the idea of water.
I was expecting a WWII dive bomber sim.
Yeah I thought it was something unique and fresh and this is just a good MMO shooter?
The year is 2485. The bugs have taken over the galaxy. They breed at an exponential rate, and we can barely hold them back during their raids. My team still don't crouch when we enter into a battle with the creatures, they walk right in front of my bullets. I repeatedly shoot them in the back of the head. I want to go home. I was told we were going to be Helldivers, I thought it meant diving deep into the ocean depths and exploring, not shooting teammates and being court martialed as they've forgot basic firearms - team training
extract pilot reminds you to "look where your standing", and "clear landing zone!"
"We see your signal and your transportation is inbound. Be sure to avoid the satellite-marked landing zone. Anything standing in that location will have its face melted off. The Jakobs Corporation would marginally regret it if that face was yours."
I’ve heard so much about Helldivers and how great it is but this is literally the first time I’ve actually seen it.

I was hoping they'd stop by, lvl 50 with enough firepower to solo entire operations on Helldiver difficulty, and only meleeing everything
Top tip after I've learned after wasting tons of grenades: as far as I know you can't actually close bug breaches once they opened but if you can get rid of the bug calling it in fast enough you can prevent them from opening!
Yeah, they were confusing the breaches up with those holes in the tutorial. It's understandable

- it is tradition to throw all your unused explosive stratagems before evac. Always leave the most freedom way possible.
