Golden tip in all this was using bronze wool instead of steel. It took me months to get rid of all the embedded rust specs on the GRP after cleaning up a hand rail with steel wool! Keep up the good work #TYTACOMARINE

If you ever run into that again, a gallon of Goof Off Rust Remover works pretty good :) Costs $10 at Home Depot and you just dump it on the deck, give a light scrub and hose it off. Usually works pretty good :)

I had not seen the way you finished off the string before. It really makes a nice way to lock off the end of the string after tightening, without loosing the tension in the string. Greg

Would like to see your video or have you make one on how you installed measured and everything and anchored the other type of Bimini top that I see on the finished boat not this canvas but the other type that our extensions of this canvas top that cover the bow and Stern areas, shall we say. That's the style I'm wanting to put on my boat as I don't have any frame for a canvas top. Hope that's not too much to ask. Maybe just go over even though it's finished just go over and show us the areas that you and how you anchored it and where and why and what material you used what items hardware you use etc and don't forget the issues you ran into that you had to solve and how you solved them.

You inspired me to change the upper motor mounts on my 250 EFI Mercury. But after lifting the power head I discovered the motor mount bolts ended up being seized into the swivel bracket. My local mercury dealer allowed me to look through their bone pile and sold me an entire swivel and trim tilt assembly from a used motor for $500 bucks! I put it all back together and she ran like a million dollars! Now the T-top of that same boat, a 1990 Donzi F-23 doesn’t look all the different from your ocean master! She could use the same treatment! Except my canvas did manage to survive Irma #TYTACOMARINE

After watching all these videos for this boat, I tip my hat to you for starting and finishing it because there was a lot to do! A lot to repair! Makes me wonder now I want to ask you, when you found this vessel, what made you decide on this vessel when you obviously with your skills and knowledge knew how much work was ahead of you.? There's got to be a reason why you chose this vessel even though it needed all this work I'd like to know. Again I commend you and tip my hat to you.!

QUESTION: when I tried the bronze wool on my tee top tubing, which looked just like the condition yours was in, it did nothing, just glided over the tubing with no effect no matter how much I rubbed. Was the bronze wool TOO fine, or was it the anodize? I thought they're all anodized. Keep up the good work!

Just an fyi- Narrow beam boats should not carry T-tops. It transfers weight up, especially when held on to. You can flip your boat- just like that- even in calm water. I've seen it happen on a 17 foot Aquasport like the one I owned - just inside of an inlet. 8 feet in the beam or don't do it 🙏
