just received the po-220e mahogany. Its cheap chinese trash like you would expect. Intonation is flat which is weird. Action was at 6/64ths which is ok for me, but the low e buzzes on 2nd and 3rd frets. The frets literally need to be leveled out the box. I saw an amazon review state this but didn't believe it. My 20 year old Martin DX1 has more leveled frets(except high frets on the body). And it doesn't even play any easier than it does. now I have to pay shipping fees to send it back. Doesn't even sound like mahogany and smells like chemicals. The unsanded sides and rough edges, even the strap peg is on top of plastic with messy edges just makes the whole thing feel like garbage and I don't know what I was thinking . This video really sold me lmao...
I'm sorry but you must be getting payed by fender because that paramount isn't nearly as good as the sapele martin and isn't in the same discussion as the 15 series martin... I really think you need to go for a hearing test and never mind to each their own because there's no comparison were that little fender comes close to those Martins... I own all three
I dunno man. I'm kind of impressed with the sound of these. its got the bass, but at the same time got the clarity. the martins sound kind of muffled and muddy. the 15 and the sapele 10. mids drown everything else out.
