Camino en soledad, soy un niño gitano. La tierra es mi madre, el sol es mi hermano mayor. ¡No golpees con tus palos! ¿Por qué me tiras piedras? Solo soy un pobre gitano y ya no tengo padres. Dios mío, ¿qué voy a hacer?
Fascinating music. I am wondering about its origins. I can hear different cultures. It is related surely to Flamenco, Tango, Armenian and Jewish scales and harmonies. Would love to hear more of it, and more about it (I study Flamenco, playing and theory). I love it by the way, and I liked the photographs very much too.
This language is the "Romani" spoken by the Gypsies of Eastern Europe (Balkans). The song evokes the difficulty of a Roma life in a hostile world. The Roma language comes from India
@@trioanastazor5257 They would find comfort, protection and peace in Andalusia under the sultans and they mixed (socially) with all the other cultures and ethnicities found there, in Seville, Granada, Cordoba, Huelva, etc. Beautiful music, evocative and multilayered.
