Nobody in the Big XII, not even my Sooners nor Texas, has put in the marketing effort that BYU has made with this. It looks like the Big XII is in great hands.
Best part - Cosmo busting out and polishing the picture of Taysum Hill running (and jumping) all over the Texas defense. A+ for the shine for the incoming BIG XII member and the shade for the outgoing :)
Wow UCF is already behind in the marketing!!! We got to get Knightro and bring back his girlfriend Glycerine for something like this!!! This is it! This is the beginning of the greatest moment in UCF sports history and we get to share it with BYU, Cosmo and all the Big 12 Schools!!!! Let's go UCF. Go Knights! Charge On!!!!
I am happy to see BYU finally having a conference home. I remember that injustice that happened with that other conference about 12 years ago but it seems the tables have turned both ways. I am looking forward to many competitive games in the years ahead. ✊🏼
I know BYU cheating teams in the Mountain West to stay competitive was horrible! I'm sure they will bring great competition with all of their WCC titles on their belt.
I have a homeless nephew who is scrapping for anything to survive in Denton, I wish I could laugh at this joke but the struggle is very real for him and our family.
Did he catch fire? Greatest self immolation since Tulane left the SEC. Smh. 🤦♂️ Your last schedules were AWESOME. Y'all coulda been the Notre Dame of the West. 😐🤦♂️
We're one of the few who can survive as an independent, I think, but being part of a good conference is more advantageous for multiple reasons. Notre Dame is a bit of a unicorn.

@westernciviccapital3075 Even if BYU does really well in the BIG XII, I think they will end up as "the Notre Dame of the west" anyway - get to the playoff, then get spanked*. LOL. (And let's not forget TCU this last season - ouch!) *There is always the remote chance that they would win in a bowl game against, say, an SEC powerhouse as Utah had a great showing against Bama that one year.... But don't get me wrong - getting spanked in a playoff IS better than being an independent and never even getting a sniff of the playoff! And to further illustrate that the NCAA can't get into a more inclusive playoff fast enough, look at the BIG XII's own Baylor, 2 seasons back (finishing ranked #5 nationally). BYU had a pretty great team (by BYU's recent standards, anyway haha) and couldn't keep up with Baylor that year. The other 4 teams ranked higher than Baylor that year also ended with 1 and 2 loss records - so why didn't Baylor get to play ANY of them (or Ohio State, for that matter) in a 16 or 8-team playoff?! Additionally, 3 of those other 4 teams ended their seasons on losses and Baylor finished the season on a 5 game winning streak. Who's to say that certain teams don't improve greatly over the course of a season? There is no way to know what would have happened at this point - and that is my "point" exactly - there needs to be AT LEAST 8 teams in that playoff so fans like me can be shut up by history - not left "shut out" with an eternal burning question of "what if". Again, the odds may be slim for outside conferences (and even their champions) to compete with the consistent SEC and ACC and BIG 10 contenders - but it's just a cop-out to say that and not let the games be played! And while apples and oranges need to stay in their respective groups, the NBA this year proved that being a #8 seed does not mean you can't finish #2 at the end of the year - maybe Baylor could've made a championship run and lost - but don't the teams and fans at least deserve that opportunity? PS, I am a BYU fan - but when another team (Baylor in this instance) bests your own favorite, all the more reason to see how that other team does over length of the season and see what their final outcome is. While there may always be teams that don't quite make the cut and feel wronged, major conference champions and other "dark horses" that win their bowl game at the end of the season ('06 BYU, '07 Boise State, '09 Utah) should at least be "in the conversation" for extending their season into a national championship. This may be something like a play-in for the teams "on the bubble" while the top 2 seeds have by week late in the season - but at the very least an 8 team playoff.... Rant over, thanks for reading :)

We've been waiting so long to get into a 05 conference and even if we aren't good, we are sure dedicated lol

Kudos to whoever is in the costume. Texas is in the triple digits and humid. It's miserable out there. Even for just a few seconds.
Costume? What costume? 🤩💙🤣

@aaronsmith2433 is there a reason why nobody in his family is willing to take him in?
that’s not funny
@CGrant8411 I live in North Carolina not West Virginia, and a simple joke is being taken far too seriously

I'm pretty sure ND is de facto part of the ACC anyway at this point, the era of independents is over
