Looks fantastic! I’m picking up my Tundra next week… not happy with the chrome around the grill and the two pieces on bumper… are you able to color match paints for this treatment or is it better to paint those parts?
The most common thing people do is wrap the chrome trim and bumpers in a gloss black, we can try to find a color that is close, but most people do not want to pay for the color match, that is something we have to workout with the company. With all the colors out there now, there is usually something that matches though!
I am trying to buy a wrap/PPF and install on my own. Would you have any recommendations on the specs I need for a 22 crew can short bed? You think 5’x10’ is enough?
They actually hold up really well when Installed correctly. The company warranties them for 5 years. Which doesn’t mean it falls off after that time but you just start to lose that deep color or shine. As long as you shrink all your edges and post heat the car before it’s delivered you shouldn’t run into any issues what so ever
Man you are a true professional, I can tell you really take pride in your workmanship, have you done a Genesis GV80 and if so how long would it take. I’m asking because I would love to get a two-tone wrap done. How long should my hotel stay be lol

Wow it shows the body lines well. My 22 tundra is not going to be garage kept, outside 24/7. do you recommend PPF or can the wrap alone protect from clear coat damage? and how long will each last?
We actually offer both at the shop - future video -, although both offer a layer of protection, PPF will actually protect your car at a higher level and also last twice as long as vinyl wraps!
How do cut the wrap above the windows on the A and B pillars without scratching the paint? Do you make the cut before you stick it down? Seems like cutting a straight line would be really damn hard that way
So there is a technique to cut the vinyl without cutting the paint, which we only do when we have to. For what you are talking about we use 3m knifeless tape, let’s you see where your line will be before laying vinyl. Then you just pull a string through and it makes a perfect line with a clean cut, I will make sure to put it in my next video!

This car and this color ended up being $3400 - life expectancy is around 5 years and that’s just for color. It has potential to last longer. It has minor chip resistance but it can still get damaged if it takes enough impact.

@@dannyneal9713 they hold up pretty well with bugs and being able to remove, like anything else wraps have a limit, if they take to big of a rock, or a shopping cart, they could potentially rip through the wrap. At least it will be easy and more cost effective to just re wrap whatever panel took damage.
How would your rate the Quality of all the clips and part that you took off? Did things feel like they potentially be a one time use/fragile clips/fasteners, or did it all come off well, and good engineering?
These actually came off really well and went back on no problem, thankfully. We run into issues with Jeeps where we usually have to buy new clips but we did not have any problems on this Tundra.

As a ,07 Tundra Crewmax owner, I say I'm so disappointed in the 22 it should be wrapped in a garbage bag and tossed in the dumpster. They should of kept the 5.7 and offered a diesel option. From.when I bought mine in 07 owners have been asking for a diesel. Toyota ignored Toyota fans and instead came out with this little car engine asking it to do truck duty and as for the rest of the truck it's a fail in my eyes. I won't buy.

Looks great. Is the wrap durable? Is it resistant to rock chips? Can you wash it without accidently peeling it off?
Yes to all! Not as durable as PPF but does hold up very well - shouldn’t have an issue washing unless installed incorrectly

Typically 5-7 years! And you can wash like you normally would. If you go to a car wash we do recommend a touch less wash though.

We are certified in PPF/ Clearbra, but we do outsource for tinting.
Went from light gray/sliver to gunmetal. Not much of a change.
