The Jiang family always expect him to do something (JYL too because I head canon that she unconsiously expected him to be all smiley and happy no matter what treatment was given by YZY) for them and for him to be as unobtrusive as possible. But Lan Zhan will always love Wei Ying no matter how he acts.
