The scooter that you can drive with a standard drivers license...We take the Piaggio mp3 urban scooter for a test drive! For more news and reviews go to www.t3.com
are all the piaggio yourban the same models? i have a 2011 model, and i would like to know if the a yourban windscreen from 2016 yourban, would fit mine from 2011. thanks a lot
Apparently because the 125cc version's wheelbase is too narrow they are still classed as a motorcycle. ..its only the larger version(s) that can be ridden on a category B licence. ..and only if you passed your test before january the first 2013.. ..I'd still buy a larger model and side step the bike test though!
as a car driver.... and bike rider, anyone who gets one of these, or anyone like this that tells you its a good idea to get one..... without taking bike training, is stupid
I have had bike training. ..just never taken a category A test. Which thanks to EU interference is now ridiculously difficult AND expensive. .besides. .piaggio offer a free training course..
It's only the LT versions that you can ride on a Car licence and it's the distance between the front wheels that apparently makes it legally a trike and not a scooter like this 125cc version. You can easily spot them cause they also legally have to include a foot brake on the right hand side. I was seriously considering buying one as the DAS is incredibly expensive but then again so are the LT trikes.
gemma stone I've booked myself in for a CBT so with a bit of a luck I'll be on a 125cc trike by the end of next week. I won't be able to get on the motorways but I only really need to get to work in central London. I have seen a couple of used Yourban LTs on Biketrader for around £4000 but that's still outta my budget. Still hopefully the nightmare of London traffic will be a distant memory soon.
man this thing needs to be available in the USA
I think it was I have seen ads for used ones
