I was hunting online for webcams for my laptop for about an hour before thinking wait! shouldn't my Android be my webcam? Googled. Saw this as one of the five videos Google threw. Saw your name on one of them. Fired this up. By 2:02 of this video I had Iriun installed on both Android and Laptop and the Android working on my laptop as a webcam. Dude! By halfway through your video I went from absolutely no idea how to having my Android webcamming on my laptop. This is beyond legendary. This is typical Kevin Stratvert. Concise. Precise. Quality. Trustworthy. Thank you Kevin.

this was so helpfull i do not own a webcam and i had a job interview that required me for some reason to have a webcam and do not allow me to use my phone for it, you saved my interview
If you only need the camera for Teams, you can join the meeting using the Teams mobile app as well as the PC and use the phone as the webcam. No need to install the third party app unless you need to use the cam for something else.
BBKing1977 i used ivcam app before, now i used the android phone as webcam for MS Teams. unfortunately, the last settings that ivcam had set, showed a low resolution. and it is set on landscape but i am using it on portrait. and that is not the settings on the android phone. how can i change my phone webcam settings to its phone camera settings? is it on desktop MS Teams settings? or mobile MS Teams app?
Dude thank you so much for this video! Got a big presentation tomorrow, and my webcam was ass. Because of this I went down the rabbit hole of trying Iriun, DroidCam, and Camo. Out of the 3 I found Camo to be the best one. It's a new software, free, has one of the best UIs, (I believe they provide source code if requested so you know it's safe), allows you to adjust the brightness / exposure / gamma / tint / temperature / sharpness / even lets you turn the flash on via software... And has some filters built in (which I didn't get to work tho). Has both iOS & Android support. I think it's USB only at the moment, but I'm experiencing no lag what so ever at 1080p 30fps. Quality is better than any webcam I've owned and it's an older Note 8 phone :) !

This was honestly the easiest thing. I've tried connecting my Cannon Rebel T3i as a webcam and that was a nightmare, this was way better.

I found out that the solution is simple: go to settings in windows, look for camera settings and allow (also desktop apps need to be allowed)
