I 2nd you should still stamp your compass and etch around it.

I like the laser etching for your forge name. But it is impossible to beat a hot stamp in my oppinion. I think it would look awesome if you would hot stamp the compass and laser etch fire creek forge

Nice work! I couldn't tell if you were already doing it but you probably need to make sure the knife is canted a bit so the surface is perpendicular to the vertical. Otherwise your focal adjustment isn't at the same distance as the logo. Maybe it's not that critical. Beautiful work, and I'm looking forward to seeing your polished logo design with all the elements!

    Good video 👍👍
I haven't looked at the website yet but do they have a "User Manual" video on their website or Y.T. channel?

You managed to get some really great results but I agree with you , it should be a lot easier to get them. There should be far more to this considering the price
    Thanks for sharing.

This addresses my only but important-to-me complaint about your knives - the huge billboarding. I even wrote you about it. I was lucky to get one of your pieces with just the logo. What you’ve got going here is much much better. Good stuff!

Yes the size of the lettering wasn't ideal previously, but I couldn't make it smaller and still legible. Happy to have the laser now!

Interesting video. I like messing with tech but I am an amateur. The engraving looks great. I was thinking that you’re different looking logos/stamps may place some of your work In a special Collector category. You know, the knife with the unusual makers stamp/logo being of greater value…

Nice machine, not sure if you wore the googles, but please don´t laser engrave with remaining eye. png's you can probably convert online to svg. you could also just try to convert a large screenshot, the resolution then is high enough.

Hi Elijah, I’m a huge fan of yours... been watching for a long time. However, I am not a fan of Laser Pecker. I purchased an LP3, got it up and running but it lasted only about 10 knives prior to not showing the preview and then not engraving at all. Customer service was non-existent other than AI which only flooded me with tons of articles. It took anywhere fr m 3 days to a week or more for emails to be replied to. After weeks of this nonsense they finally decided to replace the head. I shipped the “fault” one back and have been waiting several weeks for the replacement to get here. Hopefully your experience is better than mine.😅.

Yeah, that's a bummer. So far I've engraved a couple dozen or so, no issues so far.

But what about the actual logo you needed in the first place? The picture of the compass?
