Visited October 2023, we was absolutely stunned by the gorgeous glass structures inside the headquarters.
The company was founded in 1826,
The building served as Pilkington Headquarters for more than 40 years!
The last staff left the building in June 2015, it has been left abandoned ever since. Surrounded by active used offices nearby.
Japanese owner of Nippon Sheet Glass Pilkington group sold the premises after transferring 125 staff to a new facility.
There is plans for developers to turn the premises into flats.

Pilkington Glass HQ was on City Road, St Helens. Its Merseyside but not Liverpool as suggested. My Aunt worked there until her retirement in 1988.
