  • Born in 1726 to Muddamma Kondappa of the Balija community, Yoginarayana's birth name was Narayanappa. His parents are devotees of God. Muddamma became pregnant by the grace of the kuladeva Amaranarayana. When muddamma, out of greed for property, tries to poison her while she is pregnant and try to abort her, the serpent Adisesha comes and rescues her. Naranappa's father was a bangle merchant. They lived a contented life with their hard work. The boy who lost his parents at an early age grew up under the tutelage of the priests of Narayanappa Amaranarayana temple. He was not interested in studies and was always busy contemplating spirituality. Inspired by the puranas and stories of saints told by his foster parents, Naranappa was fond of material pleasures and pleasures. When he learned Sanskrit, Kannada and Telugu languages and became a mature adult, the elders gave him muniyamma (Lakshmamma), the daughter of his aunt, who was standing in front of him, and got her married and accepted grihasthashrama. They had three children, Muddama, Peddakondappa and Chikkakondappa. The family was big. How can you fill your stomach if your husband is not a working person and is constantly meditating on God with his nose closed? His wife Muniyamma's marriage was high. She was in Balemala's hand and told her to go to business and get it for a day. Naranappa, who regarded all the women of the world as mother equals, wore bangles to all daughters and sumangalis with pure feeling. They just paid for it. If he did not pay, he would go ahead and sell the bangles in the evening and return home empty-handed. His wife, Muniyamma, murmured that she had found a husband of pure mutta, and somehow the family was ruined. There was a rift in the marriage.
