I had completely forgotten about this song and have just listened to it for the first time since the summer of '89, when Remote was one of only two cassettes I had while working abroad. Funny to hear these lyrics now - a song about very early and primitive social networking on computers! Its subject matter washed over me back then in those computer illiterate days of my youth.
