Top EMBA programs are general management programs that address a wide range of subjects. They offer electives in technology-related areas, but you will not find a top EMBA (e.g. Wharton, MIT Sloan, Columbia, Kellogg, etc.) that offers an "EMBA in Technology."
I'm 40 years of age with 9 years work experience in a public sector. I want to switch career - from a personnel manager in a public sector to a training entrepreneur. I want to go for a full time MBA in the US because I want return to my country to male a difference in the training industry. Please, what's your advice for me?
Although there are no specific rules about who can be admitted to full-time MBA programs, the number of students who are 40 years old that are admitted to US full-time MBA programs is very small. (The average age is closer to 27 or 28.)
You might consider full-time programs designed for mid-career professionals, such as the MIT Sloan Fellows program or the Stanford MSx.

Executive MBA programs typically recruit students with longer professional experience and more senior roles than part-time MBA programs, which are open to students with similar profiles to full-time MBA programs who simply want to study on a part-time basis. The curriculum is tailored accordingly.
