It doesn't look like your module is functioning you should try and replace it with a new one or take it apart and clean it. It is underneath the glove box there are videos on how to remove the module since you've posted this! Good luck!

recently have the same problem, drained my battery and worked a bit, replaced with a second hand bluetooth module - worked for 2 days then stopped again. seems USB is also not working while this handsfree is failing. Any solutions for this?

It happened to me, and the ram memory of the cpu of the bluetooth module went into a short circuit and got very hot. Solution, change the module. The worst of all is that it drained my battery, it had a consumption of 200mA
What annoys me is that there are no spare parts for the ISSI ram chip, when it dies, the module is irreparable, and the chip used is a very unusual 44-pin.
It is more than likely that you do not have the Bluetooth module installed, it was sold as an extra feature and not all vehicle have it, but the steering wheel remains the same on all models.
I have the XLS model, which had the heated leather seats and sunroof and the sound system, however strangely it did not have the touch screen like other XLS models that I've seen
Mitsubishi dealer said that often the bluetooth module fails, that sits behind the multimedia, even though it is «working» and not showint trouble codes, it can still be damaged.
@@koole9811 clock spring was the vole buttons (worked fine after I changed it) and the mode button didn't work because the Bluetooth module didn't work. Make sure u have a Bluetooth module by taking out the glovebox and checking for a black box. It's not worth replacing and u should just get a stereo if ur Bluetooth system is messed up. Also feel free to check clock spring connecters and stereo connecters
First and last Mitsu ever bought. Full options (big display, touch, "premiun sound", etc). Everything works, but thr bluetooth. Also big issue fitting child seats in a leather configuration. This is crap car. Took it jus to go to camping. Also clock is not working (wtf, you can't set the clock, only timezone). Stupid engineering with awful results.

Had the same problem. Change the Bluetooth module. Bad module. The Bluetooth module is located at the glove box

You did not press the DISP button and then press the TUNE button. 1/reverse /forward/ 4/DISP/TUNE
