  • ✅ Vauxhall Opel Corsa C 1.2 2002 Car Restoration / Detailing The Before and After. Also known as Holden Barina, Chevrolet Corsa, Chevrolet Classic, Chevrolet Corsa Plus, Corsa Lite, Opel Swing, Buick Sail, Chevrolet Sail, Opel Vita, Chevrolet Chevy,
    Chevrolet Monza, Chevrolet C2.
    In this project I share the products used, the before and after.
    I bought this car with the idea of selling for parts. But Mechanically it was fine, with no need for major repairs. I found the car with no clutch, the battery was dead, some problems with the suspension, but nothing serious.
    I decided to give it a second chance, restore it and sell it in the best condition possible.
    I did interior / exterior detailing and engine cleaning.

      @@richardcarrescue9029 i wi certainly do my best. Ive got this lovely light blue colour which i love. There are couplw scratches which i would like to repair and some rusting under the doors which i will also work to remove, but other than that, the car is in great condition. I definitely learnt a couple things watching your video. Keep up the good work

    Good job, you should make more car Restoration videos. People like to watch those , specially on a budget car. But honestly i don't think this car is worth spending 2500€ on. But looks great , i love the factory look, some people go overboard with after market stuff

    Thank you for your video. I have the same car, in white, and i want to clean the engine so bad! Is it safe to use wd 40 in the engine area? It scares me a little bit because of the building of high temperatures when the engine is running. You did great work!

      @richardcarrescue9029  Před 3 lety

      Hello, thank you for your comment. I did the same job on an white Corsa on the past. Unfortunately I don't have videos or images. You can clean the engine whith W40, it's safe. But you have to clean whith the engine cold. Once you clean exactly like I did, don't torn the engine on for a few hours.👍

      @richardcarrescue9029  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi David, thank you very much for your comment, I appreciate it. It's easy to remove, sometimes the hardest is to remove the Gear Shift Knob.

    • @davidhammer3345

      @@richardcarrescue9029 and how do I get the gear knob off? Pull it? Or do you need any tools?

    • @richardcarrescue9029
      @richardcarrescue9029  Před 2 lety +1

      The best way is just remove the base, pull it up and cut the plastic clamp. If the gear knob is in good condition, no need to take out.

    2500 EUR? You just spent double than the car normal retial value.
    The results are awsome though.
    Wish I could spend that much to mine :)

    • @richardcarrescue9029
      @richardcarrescue9029  Před 2 lety

      Thanks for your comment Omedan. I'm from Portugal and here this car in these conditions can be worth around €2800. In the UK for example, a 2012 opel Corsa/Vauxhall, you can buy for £2300. The used car market here is totally different. If you want to subscribe to the channel, more projects are on the way👍.

    • @omedna
      @omedna Před 2 lety +1

      @@richardcarrescue9029 I totally understand that. Here in Hungary if you find a C cosa in factoy condition it could cost 2200-2500€.
      But you spent 2500€ so you could sell it 2800€?
      I just wondered the "before" condition's value :)
      But lets not argue about that.
      Nice effort!!
      I like it.

      Thanks for your comment. This car is from Portugal. It can be sold here for €2800 at the moment in this condition. I ended up spending more money than I initially calculated. But it was something I already knew could happen.

      Mechanically, the car was ok. Two months ago, I spoke to the person who took the car. She hasn't had any mechanical problems so far, except for a few simple things.
