Queen Bee is a fine example of someone who is outgoing, free-spirited, and not at all fake (even if she comes off as that initially). However, given Loona’s introvert personality. She can use a friend like Bee.

That or she's a good example of how two people can be perfectly fine people, but have no chance at being friends.
Kind of hard to see how their personalities can ever get along that well (Bee's baseline just seems more energetic than Loona's can keep up with), but also hard to say either is a bad person.

I feel like Kesha’s voice acting is why some people felt that she comes across as fake.
She’s quite flat with her delivery, and in certain moments where she’s supposed to be annoyed or angry, there’s no intensity.
To me at least, her tone barely changes.

honey, they had to FIGHT kesha's record label to even get this song out which is why kesha didn't sing in it and they had a voice double for her.
THIS IS A BIG STEP FOR INDIE ANIMATION AND FOR KESHA AS AN INDIVIDUAL.
she was signed at 18 and her contract said she wasn't free until she made at /least/ 3 more albums. that's why her career has been on hold for so long. any songs SHE writes are OWNED by that record label and that girl has to fight for it.

I think we all judged Bee a little too much at first, but on the second watch i noticed that she actually tried to catch Blitzø when he fell over after the keg challenge. She seems like a really nice and chill person. She just needs to feed off the good vibes from her parties, like a happy vampire. She feeds off the atmosphere and attention yeah but she also watches for trouble and people who are doing things that hurt themselves and went to Loona (a relative) to ask her to check on Blitzo instead of just kicking Blitzo out. She probably knows what to do if somebody has a bad reaction or starts to OD. Some of the people like this are like, “Party Lifeguards” basically.

The flow of this episode makes much more sense if you watched it togetehr with the episode before it "Ozzie's", it just is a continuation of that episode for the most part. Also, need i remind you that the "C.H.E.R.U.B." episode exists ? Which was effectivley just a filler episode when compared to the rest of the show... granted it was good filler, but ultimately still just a filler episode... Meanwhile, this episode introduced another one of hell's rulers, gave us some more insight into Loona's character, as well as, her relationship with Blitzo, and most importantly gave us the wrap up to Blitzo's breakdown in the prior episode.

I'm enjoying Helluva Boss so much at this point that I'm totally fine with and even look forward to seeing Slice of life stuff in hell that Blitzo and his crew go through. If your characters are good enough, you don't need every episode to be an epic or even have some flash bang wowie plot for each one. This is more like the Jerry Seinfeld of hell. This episode is proof that just a couple characters are good enough and can stand up fine by themselves and carry the series for that episode.
I'm normally a harsh critic about other media but Helluva Boss hits me in my soft spot enough that I don't judge any of the episodes because they're still entertaining enough and still a super welcome change of pace from Hollywood junk where every cartoon needs an unrealistic, 2-dimensional idiot villain with dumb cartoony motivations.
In fact, if anything, Loona was the villain and anti-hero of this episode but she has a realistic, conflicted and confused-teen-loner reason for being overprotective of Blitzo or even dismissive and projecting her faults on Bee to imagine Bee as a bigger monster than she could ever change into.
Helluva Boss feels more like a slice of life documentary of fun and interesting creatures in some far away hell realm than whatever Nick is demanding of the show. And It's possible I'm being unfair to Nick. He maybe just had his expectations set for something else, but the show is unpredictable for him and that bugs him. This reaction was probably one of the hardest to ever sit through from you guys. Which is shocking, you guys usually have some of the best reactions on YT but this was just... Was not it at all. It was just way too negative to an episode that deserved anything but negativity with how much trouble it was to release it and how much it shook the fandom and reputation of Helluva Boss for a long time. And all because they got Kesha.
Like listen, I understand not liking someone's music, but to go on for minutes on end just complaining about that person just because of their past music, music I don't believe Kesha was entirely happy with to begin with, it was just extremely rude and not fun to watch or listen to. Especially when this episode was delayed so much because of the lawsuit she had to deal with against Dr. Luke and was probably one of Vivzie's most passionate projects to date. Because if you don't know, she's a big fan of Kesha on top of one of her most popular videos being her "Die Young" animation. She must have been over the moon to have worked with one of her favorite artists and to finally put this episode out to the world after everything the delay did to the series and fandom. But Nick just shat on it because of her VOICING a single character. An extremely positive character, at that. She wasn't even the one singing the song but Nick just kept hate ranting to Kesha which was not only disrespectful to her as a person, but to the person who sung in place of her. It came across as extremely disrespectful.
On top of the fact that you guys didn't really understand the point of the episode? I can understand if the two of you weren't properly informed but even then, you would kinda expect nothing too big happens if they still moved onto S2 after the complications with this **end of season 1 episode**. This is a lost episode of S1. It was always only meant to be a little bonus episode and a sort of celebration of S1's success, the creators themselves have said that people shouldn't have expected anything ground breaking or plot progressing because episode 7, Ozzie's, was the "true" S1 finale. This was always planned to be just a fun little add on. So yeah, it is a bit weak in the story department, especially if ypu don't remember Ozzies, but that was never the point. It was meant to be a simple, fun, feel good episode that focused on Loona and Blitz, their relationship and expanding just a tiny bit more of Viv's world of Hell and how Loona fits into it and how Blitz is dealing with what just happened between him and Stolas. But Nick purely focused on Bee and hating her completely harmless character, whos more of a foil for Loona more than anything, just because Kesha voiced her. I understand trauma reactions and all that stuff from exes but like, we're not your therapists, Nick. We did not need to hear all of that negativity on a very momentous and positive episode.
Really disappointing reaction. I'm not gonna stop watching you guys but, this was probably one of the hardest reactions to ever watch from you guys. Way too negative. You're allowed to dislike music, but to take that out on the person themselves, and to let it ruin anything that features the music entirely? That's kind of a miserable way to live... it doesn't seem like it makes you happy to live like that, either, does it?
Like... "it's one of those fake-ass personality party girls"? Are we watching the same show? There's nothing fake about Bee, she's 100% genuinely herself. I get maybe the whole party vibe isn't your scene (it's not really mine, either), but that doesn't mean that if it's someone else's scene they have to be fake. Nothing she says or does in this entire episode indicates that she's fake; she just likes to party, because you know, Queen of Gluttony and all that.
"She has to be the center of attention the whole time." Um.. what whole time? The only time she was the center of attention was when she was performing a song. Which, you know, if you've ever been to a concert you know it'd be kinda weird and sad if she *wasn't* the focus at that point. Other than that, everyone was doing their own thing regardless of her.

But I've also read that it's just that, a persona that may or may not have been created for her by her label. I feel like they where maybe Nick more that there biased against Kesha really threw the ep off for them which yeah the episode was on par with the 4th episode which was fun but nothing wow. They even hated on Bee for being Kesha and last experience with like acting individuals when she was obviously concerned about Blitz she only got bitchy when Loona instigated overall it's an ok episode which imo is hurt by the fact it was delayed and better episodes came out

As someone who has never really listened to kesha, wasn't a huge fan of the song and found this episode mediocre-okay and agree with them that not much of worth happened this episode, it's annoying how they're letting their opinions of the va effect their opinion of the characters. Heck. It's not even kesha singing the actual song because she wasn't allowed to. But because he assumed it was, he hated on the song, voice, and character in general.

12:28 dude, I’m not a huge fan of Kesha. Haven’t been since I was 6-7 and Tik Tok came out. But some of the sh*t you said about her was ignorant at best.
From someone who grew up being a musician- no, this is not the worst song in the show. From a musician and writer stand point it’s actually very good. It just happens to be a genre that you don’t like (which is absolutely valid)- but that doesn’t mean you get to talk like it’s fact that it’s the “worst song on the show so far” no. You just don’t like it. There’s the difference.
You could’ve walked out of there or said “Hey I really don’t like this part can we skip it cause I’m not having a good time” Instead you decided to shit on Kesha and her music. Not respecting the struggle that, that women had as a young girl in the industry being s*xualized, ab*sed, ect. I get why you’re annoyed by her MUSIC but the fact that her even being around as a person gets you to act like a HUUUGE tw*t waffle. Says more about you then Kesha.

@@Vasarcdus they didn't claim it obligated you to like them or what they do. all they did was point out the bs of your behavior. nothing less. nothing more. the fact of the matter remains you decided to directly attack the artist for something she wasn't responsible for nor had any control over. Disliking the music is fine. Going after the artist for being forced to listen to her, which I remember reading somewhere in these comments, was a shit thing to do. I'm not about to make claims about it being the worst song or not since that is an entirely subjective debate I'm not willing to start.

Why would anyone hate you for liking multiple music genres? Just because metal is your favorite music to listen to does not mean you aren’t allowed to enjoy other types of music. The ones who do say that are immature idiots who need to grow up and accept it’s okay to like popular stuff.

I can see why they would be annoyed by bee, like she does seem a bit annoying and fake but as you see later on she's does seem to genuinely care about how her guest's feel(plus compared to the other royal's she seems like a good person),though not everything might be what it seems obviously. Also I can see why the song might be annoying since some of it is just saying cotton candy over and over but it's still okay in my book( plus everyone has different like when it comes to music)

Normally I don't comment, but I have some things to say. I haven't listened to Kesha's music, so I can't judge her; but do you really think it's a great idea to tell your audience to "sit on it and rotate" over some artist and a song? Really? Not only that, but people come to your channel to pretty much watch this stuff with you guys and have a fun time watching your reaction, not to be childishly insulted because of your intolerance of someone or something. The music you listen to, guy on the right because I'm bad with names, probably isn't all that high and mighty good either for a lot of people. I'm not about to demand you treat an artist I know nothing about with respect, but I will at least politely request you keep your biased hatred out of these videos or at least walk out of the room for a bit until a sequence annoying you has ended. that being said, I've met some very, very fake people who sounded genuine as well as a few genuine folk who sounded fake. so I've learned not to judge people based on how they talk, at least not entirely. so far, given that beautiful Bee showed concern for Blitz, I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and consider she may be one of the rare good demons in Hell. sorry for the paragraph but I just had to say something about Right Guy's childish bs like insulting this channel's very own audience over a stupid song. at least Nate was reasonable about it and not blinded by pure, undiluted hatred. that being said, I'll be honest and just say this was my least favorite video of yours so far, mostly because of Right Guy's biased hate bs and petty insults, and I hope later reactions to Helluva Boss are better than this. again, sorry for the paragraph and if it devolved into nonsensical ranting. Have a great day to the both of you.
Edit: I'm not meaning to come across as rude, stupid or whatever it is people will inevitably bash me over the head for. It's just a harmless opinion and a recommendation all in one. That is all

I can't watch this, I had to stop like 3/4ths of the way through because of all the hate and bias towards Kesha. I'm not a big pop or Kesha fan either, but I still loved the character she played. Vivzie, being a huge Kesha fan and having to worry about her fighting off her horrible manager in lawsuits, must have been elated to be able to get this video out and be able to work with one of her favorite singers of all time. And I get not liking music or certain artists from trauma, since it happened to both me and my dad. My dad has trauma that I won't go into detail with for the song Life is a Highway, but he doesn't let it ruin an entire show/movie that has that song or the song's singer in it. You failed to see Bee for her true self, being kind and caring and genuine to everyone around her. With all the time and effort put into making this episode possible to release, and seeing it so deeply hated because Kesha is in it, really disappointed me and it's not at all like you two to let bias control how you see something. That whole tirade of "I don't like the voice actor's music so I don't like this character" was VERY low and petty and I didn't figure you would get like this. The pure negativity really just threw me off. I'm going to keep watching your videos, since I still enjoy the others, it's just that you hit it pretty low with this one. I hope you guys can take some criticism and not let personal bias get in the way again

This was an interesting episode because it turned out just about all wholesome, but waved flags in your face like it was going to be anything but.
In a strange way gave a good message in that some people get wasted to have fun, and some do it to cope. I would think the ones that do it to cope can cause the most trouble to themselves and others, but each person is different. I also liked the world building in this episode. We have here Beelzebub, who mentioned Satan as a separate entity. They also mentioned Bael, that they are a woman, and judging by the sigil around the house I'm guessing this party is at their place.
