    A diode has about a 0.6v drop across it. If you want to charge a lead acid battery keep adding diodes in series until the output voltage is correct for the battery. I also add a 100W 120v or 200W 220v lightbulb in series with the battery to limit current to a little under 1 amp maximum.

    At 35 amps those rectifiers need a heat sink.... substantiate your claims with adding a amp meter in your tests.

    That 18 v u are getting is the because of the peak voltage of the 12 v Sine wave. According to the load the voltage will also drop.....I too have a similar kind of power supply.....they consist of two 2000 watt ups transformer and the special primary tapping s can provide 12- 90. V..and yes it is adjustable. I use 20 single 45 amp metal diode in a bridge configuration...nice video ...keep going.

    Presisaba conectar dos rectificadores en paralelo y no sabía cómo conectarlo hay dos formas, elegí como tú muestras y funcionó perfecto, se entibian los dos iguales.
    De la otra forma uno calienta más que el otro. Gracia, buen trabajo.

    Nice practice.
    Note. Rated amp. Is the max amp motor with load. Without load sure would be far under. Better put amperemeter before motor so scientificly approved.

    I have an old car that I don't want to buy a battery for but like to crank it ever so often just to circulate the oil and all other fluids. I wonder if something like this would start and run it even though the battery is expired?

      Easy to start an engine without any load ! But with load, you can really contrôle if the power supply is correct !!

    Para fornecer corrente de 1000 Watts, o circuito necessita de pelo menos 12V 84ADC. Tem que se considerar as perdas porque o fator para correntes indutivas, não é igual a 1. Neste caso tem que se adicionar ao projeto todas perdas da transformação indutiva.

    With just bridge rectifier you only obtain pulsating dc current , a good rectifier use parralel capacitor or inductor in serie or two as filter to block pulsating current ..

    the motors that take high current only take high current when they are loaded. there is an initial peak of current as you make a connection and then a relatively low current since these motors are not loaded. "Oops the voltage is going beyond 15V" thats because ur mneter is only measuring the rms or average of what is coming out of the rectifier. The peaks go to 15 Volts and the battery charges to 15V and now you are measuring the peak voltage

    Your motors maybe nameplate rating of the currents you indicated but this is at full load and not at the unloaded state your are testing them. The gear motor maybe drawing more because the gear box acts as a load.Hook up an ammeter and we will see. The voltage might even drop because your transformers are quite small physically to put out that much current.

    A start motor need 60A, WHEN it is in charge ! Without charge, it need a few current ! Not difficult to start it so...

    dont forget that its voltage that drives the amps , with a low voltage you cant get high amps , serie connect your low output supply and get 24 vac and the rectify it , then you can push your 24 dc motors

    If you are familiar with electronics, then you would know about the mean, peak and effect value. And to charge a 12 volt battery with 15 volts, that makes the battery nothing. It has to be like this. You have to offer more than the battery has, otherwise he does not charge. Each generator in a car always brings between 14 and 15 volts. Otherwise it does not work

    both rectifiers and transformer will heat up soon and damaged after prolonged use.....i have these transformer and each tranformer is winded for 3 amps of current each...connected in parellel upto 6 amp of max load will be life long....

    Gracias amigo Te comento que yo hice mi propio puente rectificador con diodos usados en buen estado a partir de una diodera de alterdor de vehiculos y aguanta bastante amperios de demanda.Tambien se pueden enfriar con un ventilador de microondas.

      ​@@ThePapafeo Amigo Cristian hay un video sobre el cual puedes construir un poderoso y robusto puente rectificador . Toma la idea y mejorala. Los cables que irian a la bateria del carro que salen del puente deben ser gruesos como del carro. porque si no el puente se calienta en contacto con la bateria. Pero la idea de esto seria para encender o dar arranque al vehiculo. Ademas si posees un capacitor dc para unos 16v o 18v 20v de muchos micro faradios por ejemplo 24000 microfaradios. esto te concentra tus 12 volt con gran potenca, cuidado con el voltaje de entrega porque con el capacitor se sube el voltaje mucho, mejor prueba solamente con tu puente rectifivcador dircto a la bateria, cuidando que no se vaya a calentar. czcams.com/video/IuNa02c70TM/video.html

      @@ThePapafeo Si amigo te serviria colocar muchos capacitores en paralelo que sumen unos 10000 microfaradios, mejor es intentar cargar tu batria y luego con la bateria cargada tratar de encender el vehiculo. para cargar la bateria recuerda qu puedes jugar con 14 hasta 19 volt la verdad debes experimentar si no se sobre calienta la coneccion. Hay un video que vi ayer que me gusto mucho. Que lastima que no tengo estos materiales, si tengo el trasnformador me faltari el cable bien grueso.     A bit misleading since motors were ran with no loads. Need to retest all motors loaded.

    el vídeo esta bien una opinión hay coronas de diodos de uso automotriz ya que estos son de mas potencia
    los diodos que tienes hay le faltan sus disipadores de calor ya que esos motores tienen un buen consumo yo para poder obtener mas potencia use trasformadores de microondas los conecte en paralelo y el secundario fue nuevamente embobinado

    So this transformer came from an uninterruptible power supply? UPS? Just wondering where to source 1 rather a junkyard obviously save money thinking of using this idea to run around 1800 Watts car audio if I can find a decent high current 12 volt output transformer I probably wouldn't use the whole 1800 what's that would be a sine wave situation it would pull 1800 watts or less at slightly higher than 12v say 14.4 but doubt any transformers are wound that big to 14.4 volts exactly. 12v 150 amp would be ideal for my situation or experiment 😉

    If you put (2) two 1,5V bat in serie you get 3V
    How in putting the 2 rectifiers in series you get only 12V?
    Should be 24V
    In parallel then 12V
    Am I right?
