_How far things have come with outright performance, a N/A 2.4ltr car producing 230hp+ and good for a low-mid 14 second quarter mile. The old E49’s, XU1’s, GTHO’s have the status of legends 💪🏼 with times no faster 😮 but price tags for millionaires🔥_

Thanks for your list. The Subaru BRZ is in good company.
Another one to add to your list, although slightly quicker.
      2007 Porsche Cayman, Manual, 2.7 litre, 6 cylinder, 180kW/273Nm, claimed 6.1 sec.
Price When New AUD$124,390 plus on-roads.
Whilst the BRZ S, is 174kW/250Nm. Currently AUD$$45,090 plus on-roads.
A little bit of trivia, is that the claimed ADR fuel consumption combined for the Cayman was 9.5 litres/100km, which is the same as the 9.5 litres/100km for the BRZ. Both on RON 98. Cheers. :)

I just bought one of these! After spending more than a year looking at second hand VFII Redlines for $60-70k+ I decided instead to get a brand new BRZ for $45k. It doesn’t have the charm of the LS3 but it’s a great fun car to drive. I can fit my 7 and 10-year-old kids in the back seat comfortably. The roof is very low and my hair brushes on it so if you are really tall you might struggle to fit.
