I visit the place now and again for work. My experience of Winsford. Getting on the 7C bus and going the wrong way, having a tour of the place when i only wanted to go to the train station. If i had crossed the road and caught it from the opposite stop it would've been a 5-10min trip, instead it was more like an hour.
Apart from the town centre. It’s gone to shit. Everything is closed. Barely on shops left. All the charity shops are gone. A bunch of small businesses are gone. It’s really only a few remaining businesses and all the big shops.
Only a 'lovely' town in the summer otherwise it's a depressing place to be. Nothing to do for the average adult, town centre is pathetic, the town is rapidly expanding with houses to gain more council tax but again, nothing for anyone to do anything. We have a little McDonald's and a poorly run weather spoons. Other than the very large industrial estate I don't see any reason why people would want to live here. Also full off teenagers pretending to be scousers
😂😂😂I left Winsford in 1980, moved there from Liverpool when I was really young, still looks the same. Always remember everyone putting on a fake scouse accent back then! The school was known as Winsford comprehensive then, the school building hasn’t changed or the library, I hear they knocked down the other part of the school a while back?
@@v1nando I left 18 years ago, I'm shocked that I returned ( for a year ) their was 3 high schools during my time, verdin and Woodford lodge, Woodford lodge has been knocked down now and suprise suprise another little council estate now occupys that area off land. It's a shocking town. To be honest, I'd rather be back in Moscow at this time than stay here any longer
@@kenzileodavo😂😂😂😂my bad, yes it was called Verdin Comprehensive back in those days…I’ve been meaning to come and pay Winsford a visit but it sounds like the place is the wrong kind of face lift!!
There's a lot of Scousers in winsford because they came to there for some reason years ago in temporary houses. Winsford is the most stupid town ever. There is literally nothing for anyone. No schools or banks or hospital or doctors or anything important

You should do a video of Old Pale Hill near Delamere as the views are spectacular
Foarte frumoasa plimbare..

Cracking place to live, people very friendly and the river is delightful. I live at Winsford and I went on a walk around red lion along the river.
Are there any dangerous areas there? Also what’s the main town center like for entertainment?
@@avono5330 there’s no “dangerous” areas but have have lower income housing area but it’s a lot more sense of community in them for sure!

And see my old school Winsford high school, and foodcraft.
Yes this it. This is winsford
Just coming out of Covid hence not many people around
It has a few shops in my opinion it’s not has nice as Northwich
Northwich used to be a lot better, but has turned into a soulless dive now, sadly.
