If you pour a couple of jugs of water with darkish blue food colouring on the ice...draws"em in like crazy. Especially when its the only open water around.
All day out in the iced over marsh, such a determination and resolve to get those late season birds!
I am with you, want them landing!
Awesome hunt fella's!!!! Nice ice hunt for sure! And the fly over Swans, was definitely a COOL bonus!!!! Have a GREAT day, and GOD BLESS ALL!!!!!👍😊🙏🙏🙏🙏
Great way to start the morning with another video from the frozen tundra!
As always, enjoy your hunt. At my duck club in northern Utah, we have 10k swans at their height of migration. Cool.
I find that sometimes if the geese are talking to you , you have to stay on the call when they spin and get excited on the call all the way to the hole. Love your videos , you are one of the best on CZcams
Good shootin Matt The video was super crisp. Long day, hope ya had snacks!
Ouah! You did it again! Magic, awesome! Living three years in Finland, I have never seen anything or done anything like that... The scenery is wonderful and again plenty of information, sound tracks too, we are really with you and your friend in your blind and you are genuinely happy of the successful shot of your friend! Nice combo of gauge, ammunition and choke selection you got there and your spread of decoys and your perfect calling to attract DUCK 🦆 and GEESES 🪿! I love when you transform them into sleepers, that works! Thanks again for sharing this nice ambiance and great job with your friend, take care Matt!
Long day on the ice paid off. Your decoys looked new! I think using some new or freshly flocked decoys makes a difference on late season birds. I like it when swans are around, beautiful, huge waterfowl. We get them in the Willamette valley also.
Yep, I keep then in slotted bags so they hopefully stay nicer, longer.
Це неймовірно! Я в захваті,як раз за разом вам вдається досягати відмінного результату! Супер!
Another great hunt, bit jealous that your hunting season is that long.
Nice work fellas! I tried sending some bands your way, but they won’t leave me alone..
Gotta watch those low swans! A buddy sitting in a buried steel box in a rice field grabbed one’s foot as it flew over. It slammed him into the back edge of the tank so hard it chipped a vertebra.
Awesome. I am curious. Do you shoot steel with the 12 gauge? If so, what shot size? I like to use steel number 1s on honkers
Thanks! Generally I do. Steel 3" BB and 2s. I've used bismuth as well.
Bro in which place you lived😄😄
I am your subscriber from starting and now I want to visit
this region in this summer 😊
Please reply me 😊
Been hunting ducks and geese for the last 60 years and have never tapped my stock, why do you do that?
Why is a lot of you spread side by side? And like in a single line?
@@HighPrairieSportsmen I think he’s asking about the sleepers that are side-by-side. Maybe you’re thinking that they’re starting to pair up for breeding? When is your season over? We only have two days left. In our late goose season here in southern Michigan. Thanks for sharing Matt.🦆🦆🦆
@@jackmasters9953 ahh. Today's our last day. That's pretty common to see geese resting like that on ice.
quit being such a game hog and let your guests shoot every now and then.
That's the cool part about the outdoors, never know what you will see. Just seeing animals in their environment can bring a smile to your face.
Nailed it!
