- An American soldier finally succeeded in his personal mission to bring an Afghan translator to the U.S. Jan Crawford reports on the effort to bring him to America that began with a promise five years ago.
Just came here after watching the Covenant.
God bless them, they kept their word and brotherhood alive.
Same here.
I did the same. Why aren’t they trying get the rest of them out
As an American Soldier myself welcome to the U.S. my Afghan brothers and sisters and thank you for your service. Let’s get all the translators and their families here. This should not be taking so long.
Long live USA
U.S failed the mission
you are right sir!
based on current situation and crisis, nothing is hopeful at the moment. i hope i can meet you and support me to USA Savely
I'm an interpreter too. And I am glad this guy and his family are safe now.
Where are u now, are u still alive brother?
@@kaizen_monk thanks for your reply!
I had to mention I'm an interpreter from Russia. This changes everything, right? )))
@@TheTuareg I'm an Indian & Russia is our time tested all weather friend & an important ally ..so it doesn't change anything for me ..
@@kaizen_monk thanks! So nice to hear that. I'm working with many Indians right and they are giving me a hard time with their accents ))) sorry )))
@@TheTuareg Having said that, unlike majority of Indians, I don't support Dictator Putin's invasion of a free democratic nation like Ukraine..
My wife watches " The Covenant" with tears.,.She is a military girl since birth..My congratulations to you sir.God Bless you.
Our interpreters are still stuck over there after years and years of service to US Army Special Forces. They put their lives on the line every day to support our mission. They've been waiting YEARS for their visas while the contracting companies have now cut their pay by 2/3, making it difficult for them to support themselves and their families. We wouldn't have been able to do anything without these guys. This is outrageous!! Why is it taking so long???!!
I just found out our interpreter made it to the US, and I could not be happier.
Thank you sir. Our country owes you a huge debt.
Hearing this news after watching that movie (the covenant) clear the tick in my lungs. Seeing that Afghanistan carried and protected the american for days was an absolute GOAT. he and his family totally deserve peace. God bless 🫡
This is an awesome outcome, many thanks and a special blessings for those who has our soldiers back😇
John men of a word ✊ he didn’t give up to save the men who saved he’s life 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Does the US military creed not state “I do not leave my comrades behind”? These men were part of the team. Glad he’s safe.
I'm also one of the left behind Afghan interpreter. I was worked so hard shoulder by shulders with US army I start my work first time with 1-17 unit everyone know me they are colled me Mike I was the younger worker in fob frontenic and then I worked with 2-1 and 5-2 Unites
but my teams left me behind.
This is horrible. I hope you can make it over to the U. S.
You need to contact the US military to ensure they honor their promises😢
Goosebumps 😢
Thousands are left behind .
So sad that we left our allies like that. Just terrible.
Thanks 🙏 to the captain who saved his life.
I proud of shinwari
GOD BLESS YOU ALL
Waiting is very dangers for interpreters.get them safety as soon as possible most of them are good.the live is too short. Sincearly
I just watched the story and search them in CZcams ... salute u guy's from India Punjab
America taking illegal immigrants but not brother in arms.. Its a shame... Grt America 🙏🙏🙏🙏
This is heartbreaking in a good way; love crosses all divides, races, creed etc. This is an amazing situation.
the true brotherhood is willing to die for the sake of saving his life.....
As much as I loved The Covenant, I hope people realize almost none of that movie actually occurred.
No but the situations are very similar
Covenant 2023 ❤
Amazing movie and a must watch, Guy Ritchie's: The Covenant.
The 4 dislikes are the taliban
Van olyan kapcsolat ami erősebb a rokoni kapcsolatnál, mert életbe maradásuk függ egymástól. Jó látni !! Jó lenne ha minden üldözött meg tudna menekülni !!
there is a hook in me
I read a recent newspaper article about this specific interpreter and a few other Afghan interpreters that were brought here and their lives are like shit in America. Some even spoke of moving back to Afghanistan. They basically live in the hood and deliver pizzas another was actually homeless for a little while. It took them forever to get to the promise land but they don't realize how hard life is in America when you're poor. Good luck cause ya'll are gonna need it. :/
you must be mistaken. Go watch the documentary about it. The guy who brought him here and saved his life raised a bunch of money for him and got him a home and furnished it. Like a check for 35k.
This is heartwarming, but the US has a moral responsibility to get ALL the translators out of Afganistan.
Yet our government allows tens of thousands from Central America and Mexico walk right into America and then gives them a free ride. My thanks to all those who helped our soldiers. You deserve so much good in your life.
Many end up serving or have their children serve the military. Like me. My parents are Mexican.
It’s almost like American companies are hiring them to work and that’s why they keep coming
Amazing
Welcome to US bro❤
am very happy that this man and his family deserve a chance. He save an American soldier and am very happy this is a happy ending.
Success story👍
Cool 👍
done watching THE COVENANT
And yet we have all this illegal immigrants causing chaos in our cities when we have people that actually deserve to live here
The ones born south of the border typically just come here and work quietly. They’re not the ones becoming martyrs
Good old days
#spirt of the guy❤
FJB!!!
thousands are still left behind. wtf USA? why does it take so long? there are US Soldiers who will easily vouch for these heroes
Waaw

So much like The Covenant
