Our interpreters are still stuck over there after years and years of service to US Army Special Forces. They put their lives on the line every day to support our mission. They've been waiting YEARS for their visas while the contracting companies have now cut their pay by 2/3, making it difficult for them to support themselves and their families. We wouldn't have been able to do anything without these guys. This is outrageous!! Why is it taking so long???!!

I read a recent newspaper article about this specific interpreter and a few other Afghan interpreters that were brought here and their lives are like shit in America. Some even spoke of moving back to Afghanistan. They basically live in the hood and deliver pizzas another was actually homeless for a little while. It took them forever to get to the promise land but they don't realize how hard life is in America when you're poor. Good luck cause ya'll are gonna need it. :/
