In this FIFA 23 Career Mode Rebuild, we'll be placing Bale in charge as manager of his hometown club, Cardiff City. Can you do some player carrer modes with older players like Buffon or even Roy Kent play there carrer for a bit then retire and see what happens
Somebody did a career with Buffon. Since he is over 40 his rating does not decline (it only declines from age 34-39 for some reason) and in the example I saw he played on for another 4 seasons before retiring at the same rating he was at the beginning.

Love your content man - curious, do you do training one by one, or do you sim through months at a time over games and training? I don't know the details of the training system, but do you play a few to get A's, and then can just sim over them using the calendar?
the highest grade you get will be used for that training in the future
actually just saw in your calendar that you have training turned off? Is that the way to go do you think? Do you still see people go up in rankings as effectively? And how does morale, fitness etc. factor into it if you go down that route?
@@okkevandijk4281 I'm aware of that, but curious how it would work for simming - ie. does the same principle apply? Or what if you don't do training, which is what it looks like here - how does that effect fitness, sharpness, and morale?
@@JFulfy the same applies when simming in the calender, and as for the no grade, theyll give you a D and dont give a bonus whatsoever.
@@okkevandijk4281 I don't think you're understanding what I'm saying. I'm not talking about if you get no grade, I'm saying if you change all training to be a rest day, and turn off training impact which looks like he did in the video, how does that apply to someone's growth? Because clearly Maier didn't need training if he went +10 after one season? So I'm just trying to understand the game mechanics around choosing to sim in this format.
I'm fully aware if you complete a training with a no grade it gives a D, that's not what I'm asking.

@@felixbache5369 you're right, I've just done some research and found that Zlatan actually co owns Hammarby which angered the Malmo fans causing them to vandalise his statue.
Yeah, the big debate would be whether to do the rebuild on Malmo or Hammarby. Still a concept I'm open to visiting!

I agree, but Flick is so good at these realistic rebuilds so I think we let this one slide!
I get that, it can be a fine line between realistic and transfers that tie into the story I'm creating. Maybe someone like Eden Hazard would have been better for the Madrid transfer.
Benzema is realistic as a real madrid ex player bale has some connections so he could sign real madrid, Tottenham, LAFC and Southampton players.

hey flick would you consider a hellas Verona rebuild? they were a solid mid table team fighting for european competition, then this season they are doing very bad, sitting in the regelation zone, it would be interesting bringing in italian and greece talents.

Flick, you should absolutely do a Panathinaikos rebuild in Italy's 2nd Division. There are lots of Greek players to choose from and they have history of signing players from Sweden, Croatia, Serbia, Finland, Brazil and Argentina, so you can showcase some lesser known players! 😉

How did you get bale to manage Cardiff ?
Do a player career with him then retire him. If you want to do this, make sure you put the player in the same league as the club you want to manage (in this case the EFL championship) because those are the clubs you will get management offers from upon retirement.
