not going bork early is close to hard inting, ive had games where it consistenly does 10k+ damage vs an average team, and up to 18k vs tanks. the guy who "popularised the build also often builds stuff like wits end for more on hit damage and tankyness, but you dont really need more than divine, mura and bork.
Its just the base damage that these items provide are just so powerful. You can build it any AP champion that has low cd to proc Divine and Muramana consistently and won't be disappointed. Nidalee, Ahri, Fizz, Kassadin, Evelynn and maybe Akali ( without Muramana obviously ).
Just that Fiz Q and W apply on-hit effects, therefor he used to be quite good with on hit and even crit in certain matchups... back in a more... civilized age. When builds used to be FUNKY AS HELL, BOI

try ultimate slows yorick- iceborn gauntlet- grudge- rylasis and then maybe deadman and stormrazor, ive tried it and u apply a total of 120% slow when u hit E and aa slows for 125%.. total slow with an e and aa= 245%

Items:
Berserker Greaves > Divine Sunderer > Botrk > Any crit items. Good options are Navoori, LDR, BT, IE. Steraks, Titanic and Cleaver also work on this build.
For instance versus 2\3 tanks I would go LDR + Cleaver 4th and 5th Item
Essence Reaver doesn't make Sylas passive crit but its passive and stats might be good as you get the sheen proc and mana refound so you don't need to build sunderer and manamune, instead you can build another bruiser items
I tried to play ad sylas once, but I was to bad to make it work. So I am really happy that zwag pulled it off :D
Alright everybody, welcome back to another video! Today we're playing some Sylas in the midlane and we're running conqueror, presence of mind, tenacity, coup de grace ("cut grass"), sudden impact and ingenious hunter!
In my experience the best order has been Sunderer > Manamune and then either Shojin, Death's Dance or Maw depending on what you need the most. I stopped going CDR boots because i feel that AD sylas gets the most when he's a little bit tanky too, so mercs or steelplate helps a lot. Also, every single item in the build has haste.

They won't do that tho.. they want him ap so they won't give him any ad scaling on ult. It would be cool tho. But I guess if you build this build, you just have to steal more utility based ultimates, rather than damage oriented ultimates
I think the best general build for AD Sylas is the bruiser route:
Divine Sunderer > Muramana > Titanic Hydra > Thornmail/Abyssal Mask
Loved hearing Greenpath, such a great soundtrack to include, have you played Hollow Knight thru, Zwag?
Just a suggestion. Try him out with heartsteel and demonic embrace. Then just go ad after. Constantly gaining health. With that gain AP. i mean, I am not great at the game but I find it amusing to do on Veigar and Alistar. Maybe it will do something On Sylas
I dont tell anyone what to play. I just notice that Zwag plays majority ranged champs and I decided to call him out on it. Im glad I did because this gameplay is exciting

Did that build plenty of times in ARAM. Just Titanic instead of Ravenous and Frozen Heart instead of BotRK.

I feel like AD Sylas works best as split pusher with Hullbreaker. Remove BotRK. Also...you should have went Armor Boots instead of Ionian since the beginning.

This build basically does dmg with splash passive. So how would rageblade work on him auto ability then auto with the passive doing an extra on hit cause of rageblade

Try crit j4 mid against melee champs. It hardounters almost every mid champ that doesn’t have a dash or root. Essence reaver into crit items op

THANK YOU! I tried AD sylas some games but I couldn't really make it (I did have some great fights and funs xD). Specially Hail of Blades Sylas since his passive gives a TON of AS in limited aa.

Hey Zwag! You should try full crit Olaf again but with Navori's instead of Infinity Edge
The new Quickblades make his abilities come back super fast, you're able to use W before it's even over and you get so much more damage from the quickblades than you do from IE.
I've been doing it and rushing it 2nd or 3rd item, depending on who I'm up against, I've also switched to using Second wind and Revitalise on secondary runes for extra healing, but Shield Bash might be awesome with the low W cooldowns! The original inspiration secondary works awesome too.
i fr have always gone ad sylas, the first time i didn't was when arurf was available
it scales so rediculously on is chain charges, his abilities are more focused towards entering a fight, it feels almost like he is supposed to be played this way, jump in, cc, spin to win
i go crit sylas tho, with the quick blades you can use your abilities more, which also means spin more

The build looks fun but seems to scale like crap. I wonder how an ap bruiser build would work, like demonic into sunderer cosmic drive, and then go for either more ap heavy items or defensive ap like zhonyas or even stuff like spirit visage for even more regen.
Isn't that a kinda decent sylas build? I never see any diversity in sylas builds it's always either full assassin or ultra scaling ap with roa and seraphs but never bruiser like a swain or some kata builds without the on hit items.

This only makes me want to try AD Galio again...but does it have the same effect on Zwag? 😉
The difference between this and AD Galio is that Sylas' passive procs every single ability use (and has a slightly better scaling, 130% per burst vs 100% per smash), AD Galio is getting far fewer empowered autos a fight until lategame because of its cooldown. It's a lot less effective than this build is, I would think.
