- Hi! Here a new video about Dark Souls 3!
With this technique you can gain 1 MILLION souls in 10 minutes without glitches! It is based on a fast switch of shield of want that allow you to gain 159% MORE SOULS! (with symbol of avarice and covetous silver serpent ring obviously)
You'll need:
-COVETOUS SILVER SERPENT RING +1
-SYMBOL OF AVARICE
-2 SHIELDS OF WANT or (1 MENDICANT's STAFF and 1 SHIELD)
-RAPPORT PYROMANCY (15 INTELLIGENCE)
OPTIONAL:
-SUN PRINCESS RING
-HORNET RING
NG+

I used to use rapport but the method I have developed is much easier, in my opinion. Which doesn't really matter to the internet.

Dawdle Games no, every run needs 2 minutes from bonfire to killing them all. Using a bone allows you to return to the bonfire in 5-8 sec, so if you wanna be really precise it's 1 000 000 souls in 10:30 mins
in other words 600,000 in 10 mins and 30 secs
I want to be clear on this, I'm on ng+7, so I get about more than 2 million in 10 minutes. :)

I'd like to add another way for people in their first NG and are at around SL80, wanting to get to SL120 fast. You want to only farm these winged knights for a long time, get a:
Dark Lothric Knight Sword +9
Shield of Want
Covetous Silver Serpent Ring
Symbol of Avarice
25 in VIG
25 in END
18 in STR
18 in DEX
25 in INT
25 in FAI
Since the winged knights are extremely weak to dark damage, your high Dark LKS will scale very nicely with your INT and FAI. Put your shield up and go around them to backstab the knights. This will net you about 70,000-80,000 souls per 90 seconds.
Get a Dark Dagger and Hornet Ring to oneshot them

Mc Nobbets I'm doing the same thing,but what I do is,I wait for them to jump down,then I calculate when they gonna land and I cast the magic(since it takes time to do it). As soon they land,I mark one,and it works,so as soon they can move,they start fighting and I run to hide lol..and they have not idea of what happened..sadly I missed the avarice and can't make this much woulda per run,all I do is 20K,I guess I need a NG uh?

If you equip the slumbering dragoncrest ring, you can easily rapport the last winged knight without alerting it. Other than that, great video.
i actually did this for a long time although i never thought 2 shields would work and i dont have avarice. i use pyromancy to speed up their fights and black flame on last one. interesting this just sped up my farm

To anyone finding this much much later, you can use a staff a medicate instead of 2 shield of wants so you help dish out damage with your new friends from rapport
You really could make this method a lot better with the +3 version of the silver serpent ring, and you can get it quite early into the DLC.

Additional Tip: Instead of swapping to weapon and then killing and swapping back for the second ascended knight to be killed, you can just throw a firebomb- respec strength to 50 and use black firebombs.

you don't actually have to go into ng+, you can get the silver serpent ring +3 in the ringed city after running right after the first knights and then running through the structure, and instead of having 2 shield of wants, you can have a mendicant's staff which you can get by farming the summoner man-serpent at the great bellfry bonfire

Great idea. I'm totally going to have a go at that. You didn't however count in the time it takes with the loading screen. No other video I've watched does and loading times can be finicky but still a factor. But still awesome idea and video. SUBBING 4 sure. :)
yup because loading screens on pc are very fast like 3/4 sec. that's because i didnt consider them, anyway ty for sub ;)

You can also infuse a weapon with dark to make it more efficient as the knights are really weak to dark damage
Dark Rapier +9-10, dark ring, hornet ring, silver +3, and any 4th slot you choose. Also dark ring boosts black flame pyromancies
there is the new covetous serpent ring plus 3 as well so its actually a lot higher.
With the dlc silver serpent ring +3 omg

to make it easier use dark magic like that dark fireball it does like 600damg at 30 int/ 30 fth to them cause they are weak to dark also use the Pyro rings to boost damage but don't forget to +10 pyromancy hand/glove first

Caster version, assuming access to Ringed City DLC:
-- Covetous SS +3 ring, Bellowing DC ring, Young DC ring, Slumbering DC ring
-- Shield of Want (left hand),
-- Symbol of Avarice,
-- Mendicant's Staff +10/Pyro Flame +10 (right hand)
Spells:
-- Hidden Body
-- Rapport
-- Great Soul Dregs
Method:
-- run to opening that is right under where you make them drop, cast Hidden Body, then run up and make them drop down.
-- run back to doorway, cast Rapport on one that lands in front of you, wait.
-- when one dies, cast Hidden Body again and then lock survivor of the Rapport fight, and one cast of GSD should finish him. If it has more than 30% health, Rapport, then GSD.
-- estus and ashen flask
-- cast Hidden Body, run to remaining knight, cast Rapport, dump GSD until dead.
Tip:
-- you can buff your damage with staff, but do it after you swap from pyro flame. With my setup at 60 INT, and buffed with staff weapon art, I drop 960ish per GSD.
On NG, and my gear, I get just over 37k per knight, and a run takes just over 2 minutes from bonfire to using sword frag. So in about 11 minutes, I'll get around 600k on NG.
Sunlight spear, shield of want, Mimic face, snake rings, sunlight ring, 3 flasks of blue, take out all 4 and 1 giant snake man... repeat, one hit for the snake man, and 3 for the giant snake man... that's how you farm titan chunks/shard/large plus REAL FAST SOULS which I turn them in to chunks anyways....

I know my opinion doesn't matter to the internet in the grand scheme of things, but this is what I do. Chaos dagger +10 (right hand), shield of want (left hand), sunlight talisman (left hand), medicant's staff (right hand), chloranthry ring +3, silver serpent ring +3, hornet ring, ring of favor +3. I run up, trigger the first two angels, and run next to the very edge of the staircase. Throw a sunlight spear at the twin axe angel as he lands and get him to aggro. He ALWAYS (for me anyway) takes a few steps toward me, then does his axe lunge. I dodge to the diagonal right without targeting on and lock onto him and backstab him for other 1,300-1,500 damage (can't remember the exact numbers). If he starts doing the pillars of light attack as he gets up, backstab. But it not, attack with the dagger twice and he dies, then whip out the staff. For the first halberd angel I toss a sunlight spear at him, he reciprocates by doing either his vertical chop or spinning attack. If it is his vertical chop, dodge right and try to swerve behind him for a backstab. If it is his spinning attack, dodge like hell and hope you survive. If you manage to stop shitting yourself and actually end up behind him and get a backstab, awesome. If not, close the gap but don't get to close. He should respond by doing his normal combo. But if at any point he starts doing divine pillars of light, Usain Bolt your ass to his and backstab him which will prematurely end the attack. If that fails, good luck. For the third angel and second halberd wielder, slowly creep up behind him and get a backstab. Then you slash him twice as he gets up and make some distance. If he does the same attacks as I mentioned with the first halberd angel react accordingly and you should be awesome. Given if you haven't forget to whip out your staff after each kill you should get 65,000+ souls on NG+6 and up. Of course it doesn't always play out in that exact scenario with the two halberd angels, but the twin axe one is 99.99999% going to do as described. For the remaining .1% he will very very rarely just throw his axes at you. Just roll backwards and maintain the distance and he's default back to axe lunging. Also, without sunlight spears, the chaos daggers take two swipes (three if you fail a backstab) and two backstabs to kill one of them. Always keep your shield up with the halberd angels as much as possible. I hope that was at least interesting to read, have a wonderful day.

And one more thing- if you don't have the staff just use another shield of want like in the video. I just use the staff because it was the only one I ever got until just last night of this post.

It’s faster if you run straight to the “last” guy then rapport him then rapport the guy to the left so those 2 fight then as those are fighting just backstab the first guy
I use the dragonslayer greataxe weapon art and can kill him in 2 hits then I heal up and throw myself in the middle of the 2 fighting and use the weapon art to kill them both
Super fast compared to this and any other method
So run straight in to the left past the door then rapport before the guy even lands so it hits perfectly as you can lock on then walk forward and left to rapport the “first” guy in this video so those 2 fight like usually then boom boom dragonslayer great axe weapon art then heal up and one more weapon art to get the other guys or if they killed one already just hit one guy with a regular attack and usually he’ll die in one hit

Effective but if your level around 195-802 then your better off doing fight clubs and using the same strats
1. Because it’s cool seeing people murderize each other
2. Almost as effective as winged knight start
3. You can do this with your friends

Actually for a mage iff you use mendicant staff and hurl dark soul dregs or pyromancy use the dark flame spam n switch after kill u can probably do this in 30 seconds less

To kill third knight, fastest but more unreliable way would be to do sunlight spear build with morion blade and red tearstone ring, let yourself get hurt by the first two knights and one shot the third, for greater reliability cast oath of sunlight as the knights are jumping down from the tower.

you can do this same method in your first play through and get roughly same amount of souls... instead of two shield of wants, equip a mendicants staff instead (20 % extra souls just like shield of want) and switch to hit after you kill an angel just how he switches to a shield.

ng+ was refering to the 2 shields of want, but u can use mendicants staff works as well
Keep in mind the amount of souls gained isnt gonna be the same, also as quinn said, two shields of want
Mendicant staff and silver+3 gives you around 72k souls. Just a little optimization
EDIT:
Using shield of want in both hands doesn't multiply the effect, it's like having just one.

I use one more additional item on my sorcery build :) Medicant's Staff upgraded solely for farming! Using that i cant use second shield of want so we gain same souls :P

You need to be pretty close to them to cast rapport, anyway i don't know about any patch. Try again closer and Let me know if it worked ;)
