Really miss my hometown
I miss my times there too. It was good while it lasted.
Nice to see present-day Chengdu. Good times and good memories there!
I had some great times too but it will never be same as it was.
Thanks im Canadian my wife is from that city we will be traveling to there in February im a 61 year old truck driver and totally clueless haha
No worries. You'll have a great time. Chengdu is a good city for newcomers to China. People are friendly and its easy enough to get around. There's a bunch of decent places near Sichuan uni and plenty of other places to explore. Wish I could visit too soon but I doubt it for many years. Have a great trip!
Cool video man!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed. Chengdu and Sichuan are cool spots.
Good vdo. Keep it up, keep going on
Thanks. Appreciate it.
Great video and info, I lived in Chongqing and went out of the city about 100km and remember the mountains going on forever and ever, seeing your vids of outside of Chengdu reminded me of that, pretty amazing, thank you. I wonder what % of foreigners left Chengdu 75%? More? peace from Hawaii.
I lived in Chongqing in 2013. Its an interesting place and pretty skyline but I liked Chengdu more. I heard western Sichuan was beautiful probably when I lived in Kunming in 2007. In 2011 I biked around the western areas and it was no doubt just as amazing as Tibet. I don't think many people know that. I would def go back and visit sometime if you didn't see much there. Yes, I think 75% that left is probably a good estimate. I still have my website if people are interested in doing tours there and zero people have contacted me to travel there. Xi Jingping ruined China for foreigners wanted to live or travel there.
@@Ramblingroads Very interesting, thank you for replying! I was in Chongqing around 2013-2015, lived in Shapingba. Western Sichuan, seems very cool, I need to see it. Yeah, a lot of the guys in Chongqing wanted to move to Chengdu, at least they are close now with the fast trains, i heard there is a station in Shapingba too going to Chengdu. Wish you luck in the US! peace.
Wow i was yhere working in2015, it looks like it has exploded in size since then .
Its not too much bigger but a few more things to do. Although I imagine some places will close as the economy continues to tumble.
Good vid, but half of the places you mentioned are not on Dianping. Really hard to find
I hear ya. I was moving out of China the week I made that video so I didn't have time to put the details, but when I have time I'll break that down and put in some links. Cheers.
为什么老外都爱来玉林?
玉林市有一些特色和漂亮的区域,而且离一切都很近。
