- Last Life is a sequel to the Minecraft 3rd life series, a Minecraft Hardcore series featuring many Minecraft CZcamsrs from the Minecraft Hermitcraft server and many other places. In this Minecraft Survival Multiplayer series named Minecraft Last Life, each Minecraft player is assigned a random number of lifes, with people on 1 life being hostile. There is also an Among Us style Boogeyman element, so anyone acting suspicious could be the killer! In this episode Mumbo builds a Minecraft survival bunker, and plays with friends.

Mumbo make use of dripstone in your traps! It wasn't in last season so people wont expect it and with the proper height its a insta-kill, they'll never see it coming.
You may wish to create a panic room of obsidian with arrow dispensers. Also no one ever uses potions (they are op if you have them and they can instakill or severely damage). Granted they require going to the nether, but that may give the edge that you need.

I mean, couldn't you just unlight and relight a campfire with a shovel and flint&steel, and have the smoke mean that a message is ready, then you snuff it out when you get the message? That doesn't even require extra blocks.

I love how ill fit Mumbo is to a hardcore game like this but he is just beloved. He seems to be alike the favorite child, and is given his red stone to make him happy and protected and I Love it!

tips for survival:
1) don't trust grian when he says "it's just a prank"
2) don't make deals with scar for _anything_
3) whoever tries to hold the monopoly on enchating inevitably gets raided
4) any and all gifts built in the world must be treated as though explosive
5) flammable bases are a bad idea
I wouldn't be suprised if at some point Scar made everyone sell all their diamonds to him for "reputation points"

looking back on this series from present day its hilarious to see Mumbo's first instinct was to build atop a mound, like foreshadowing of what was to come in later seasons of hermitcraft.
love how they spent 5 minutes on video discussing the campfire morse code by using a piston to block the smoke, and no one remembered you could just right click the campfire with a shovel

I think the coolest part about the life gifting concept is the potential to turn a red name back into a non-hostile yellow name. That feels like such a cool trade-off. Like, you still lose a life, same as if they killed you, but now they won't be hunting for players anymore. Until they die again, of course.

Have two bases: One at the lowest Y value you can get and another close to build limit. Making the base at build limit will allow you to have a safe place to respawn and having one down low where nobody will find you will allow you to have a secret hideaway. Having lava on hand in a sky base and all around the top of the underground base will prevent people from digging straight in, and obsidian would help this as well. Finding a ravine/cave system will be a majorly useful place because if you hide there, you aren't likely to be found either way. If you get boogeyman and need to kill someone, meet a team member at the top of tower and go ya-yeet if possible, if you don't want to do that, tell your team up front and say "Hey, don't tell anyone, I'm gonna go try and kill someone else but should I fail, can you guys spare me a life or two so I don't go into Red" - Having someone who knows Redstone really well on side is gonna be a great thing for them and losing you is losing a major boon for the Aha Gang.

@@sceither9814 I did a lot of Factions when I was younger, so I had a lot of these kinds of plans tucked away because I wasn't going to trust random people to not completely rob me, so I'd keep basic equipment in the regular base and only I'd know the only safe way to enter my panic room.
