HOLSTEIN KIEL PROMOTION 5/11/2024 Fireworks over the Holstein Stadium & motorcade on the Westring Escalation after the end of the game against Fortuna Düsseldorf on the 33rd matchday of the 2nd Bundesliga.
State of emergency in and in front of the Holstein Stadium, on the Westring and in many parts of the city of Kiel: The Holstein Kiel team achieved something historic today. With the draw in the last home game of the season, it is clear that Holstein Kiel will play in the 1st Bundesliga for the FIRST TIME next season. For the first time since the Bundesliga was founded, a club from Schleswig-Holstein will be represented in the first league from the 2024/2025 season!
After the game ended, there was no stopping the fans in front of the Westring stadium. The rise of Holstein Kiel was celebrated with a kilometer-long motorcade on the Westring. And of course there were fireworks over the Holstein Stadium.
