This game was a masterpiece not only because of the amazing graphics it had at the time, but also because of the realistic design, physics and sounds of the mechas, it makes me think that they must have an expert in military vehicles working with the videogame developers as an advisor.
The guy who design mech on this game was engineer drop out and take art school so that's why the mech design is look more likely will work on real live
I think one of the creators of the AC franchise has had a background in mechanical engineering, so he gets a more refined idea of mechs could be built and how they would behave.
I hope they keep the movement, but after seeing the flying in the end of the trailer for 6 I would guess there's going to be a ground and air mode because the mask switches and then it gets way faster like 4 instead of the combat like titan fall of 5
I haven't play Armored Core but I love mech genre. The mech's design in AC is just beautiful specially here in AC4. Every detail from all moving parts to hydraulics and armors scars and wear and tear its just beautiful. I'm happy for the fanbase for it's comeback. Excited for 2023 and I think hopefully I can play this game. One thing I like on AC4 cinematics is you can see how LARGE the mechs is in human perspective specially in the battle part on the first one. It's dang fast. That's epic and scary when that robot is watching you.

I imagine they made a basis and then just started scrapping ruined towns, old mechs, and other massive machines that they managed to catch in the early phases of construction.

Well his job was to survey its weakness and destroy the stationed normals and MTs. It happened prior to the mission you can get in-game, and then you (strayed) rolled in then finished the fight.
FROM needs to work on their scale lore. These AC's seem more like 13 - 15 meters tall instead of around 10 (school bus size). For crying out loud the helicopter was only able to transport one of the main guns that looks to be around 6-7 meters in length.

I contacted Bandai-Namco a few years ago, asking if they could release (at least) Armored Core 5: Verdict Day on Steam. They said they would consider it. About a year later, I contacted them again to see if there was any progress. They basically told me to F*** off. Apparently they consider being asked about a topic, by a fan twice, a year between inquiries, to be harassing? I don't know...but I'm fairly sure Armored Core is dead in the water at this point...

I remember trying to copy the build from this trailer. Both the guns fire rather slow compared to the trailer. (Pretty normal for an AC game) and to be honest the shoulder missiles were weak as hell. The back cannon and body was all I kept, replaced all the other weapons lol.
What about For Answer? Was that one still too hard? I never played AC4 but I did play For Answer. And it's knockout!! Beat it more than 10 times!! And about to go for another dose!

The mech has those shoulder flares, and two different rifles, and the shoulder weapon is different from the rayleonard series. It isn't the base Aaliyah

Apparently in 2017 Miyazaki confirmed they're working on Armored Core again so it'll very likely be sooner rather than later.
