For a long time I thought that the second movements to Mozart's last ten Piano Concertos were the most beautiful pieces of music. Now I have to add the Larghetto and Adagio movements (second movements) from Spohr's clarinet concertos. It amazes me that Spohr's music was just about forgotten for so many years.
Music is so international. Cape town orchestra! Lovely. Hope you are all doing well and going strong. Clarinet is beautiful. Not an expert but sounds good to me.

A Koster, quite true, Spohr's music was SO well regarded throughout the 1800s that he was even quoted in Sullivan's "the Mikado". His music seems to have oddly fallen from favour. I love his numerous symphonies, too. Worth checking them out.

They are most tuneful and melodious too. I was wondering if I could trouble you guys with a request. Could You Please post The Complete String Quartets Composed by Louis Spohr. I hear that they are Heavenly. Thanks in Advance.

On The Other Hand, There is a Classical Music Blogger who is Vietnamese and who has Uploaded On His Blog 12 Complete Volumes to date of Spohr's Complete String Quartets. Alas, They are in Lossless Format. No One On That Blog seems interested in helping me to get those Volumes Of Music In Lossy Format @ 320 Kbps. So, In Short I do not know what to do.

I played 1 and 2 and 3. They are quite difficult to play.
