    To fix the unwanted reversing, install a breadboard, set forward propulsion to 1 if enemy present. Enemy present= just hit the gas.

    Hey!
    Hot tip: have small ammo compartments like 2x2x2 spaces spread out wherever there is mostly empty space and it's not scary anymore ^^
    Love your structure of building, my stuff always gets so chaotic and jumbled and messy haha, and I started on a build for my captain and he told me: APS but no dif guns.... so I will have to not rely on them this time haha

    Corners of turret spaces are really nice for redundant systems especially with how you've armored it.

    Nice!!!! Ive learned quite alot about capital ship building from this series, hopefully I can make something far better armored and armed than corvettes and pre-dreadnought cruisers soon

    Yeah, and you can also connect turbines to boilers without pipes at all so you can save some extra space.
    Not sure about large turbines but with medium ones it's pretty neat

  • @ultranecrozmadoesstuff6999

    Are you gonna do a final comparison of the old ragnarok and new? Just to see how much it’s changed

    nice video my dude

    I would definitely install an output controller on the LAMs, set up a Burst Energy limit to what you deem the highest health the projectile could have, an appropriate damage per shot per node and a firing limit for your nodes.
    Secondly in puncto steam engines, if you put a steam valve between the first piston and the boiler and set the min input pressure to 9,9 there will be pretty much no spin up time from boiler 0% to 100%. It also reduces the materials wasted on "leaking" steam massively! Definitely worth a try.
    Good work overall with the ship, it looks quite good already.

    Could you possibly dedicate a few minutes to azipod/propulsion balancing and AI/breadboard bits in the final/next video? As someone who builds smaller and at the lower end of the resource spectrum (

    You should make large/huge torpedo tubes at the front just like ww2 subs since she sits so low in the water

  • @Cooldude-ko7ps

    So will the Ragnarok run on steam propellers? If so then how will you get the steam to the props? Maybe a separate engine in the stern just for them? Or will it be electrical propellers?

    • @Brenzo44
      @Brenzo44  Před rokem

      Its using crank motors.

    • @Cooldude-ko7ps
      @Cooldude-ko7ps Před rokem

      @@Brenzo44 interesting. So why use a crank motor instead of piping it physically up to the steam engine? I’m guessing space, no pipes to be cut. Though it’s probably more expensive or something? So for say a non combat ship like a transport it’d be cheaper to just use the shaft’s instead of the motors?
