Learn rhow to Draw out a Tattoo Design of an Old School Gorilla Head! done on paper with pencil, Windsor and Newton Brush Markers and a good old Sharpie so its easy to follow along with any medium.
I've got about 14 years experience tattooing and tattoo many different tattoo designs in different styles from Old School Traditional, Neo Traditional, Japanese, New School and Realistic. Drawing a tattoo design in a different style requires very different appoaches but lucky enough i break these down into easy to follow guides showing you how to draw old school, how to draw neo traditional/japanese etc is very simple steps and understanding how you did it and what makes them look that way.

As i watched this, it recommended your gorilla video from 5 years ago. Comparing the two really shows how much you've progressed as an artist. Makes me realize I'm not going to get better unless I put pen to paper

I actually plan out my drawings now where as before I used to just go wherever I felt like.

Cool video. Familiar with Waverly Color Company ? There based out of Baltimore Maryland USA and make some highly pigmented liquid watercolors and tattoo inks. Great black tattoo ink and use the watercolors all the time even though they reconstitute with water there worth the vibrance especially their Melba , Payne’s Grey , Gold, Blue, and Orange . Also use FW especially the red and black. Always wanted to try the eco line from Europe.

What kind of paper do you use? I've tried several types and they all bleed with sharpie

No prob they are winsor and Newton brush markers. Those ones are the grey shades CG1-4. You can buy them on Amazon, art shops etc. The grey can be brought in a little set or they do come in the 48 set as well

Na on the Bristol board the sharpie drys super quick so doesn’t effect them

It would be awesome if you would include a file to download this. I’m at the stage where I’m literally tracing everything a thousand times. So if I could pair that with the tutorial. That would be awesome. I tried to just draw it the way you did, and it looked more like my butthole than a gorilla, and I threw my sketch pad across the room 🤣
