LA Sinnoh Tour was amazing. The spawns, the city experience & the rose bowl. Glad it didnt rain on Sunday😭
The shiny rates for the eggs were surprisingly low for an in-person event.

yes it is, I have been hatched too many eggs, only got 2 carnivine shiny from 10km and got munchlax, chingling, and mime jr from 2 km

Felt like 1/125 rates, which I would’ve expected from global event, not in-person. When JT, the ultimate grinder, doesn’t get 2/3 shiny regionals, you know it’s jacked up lol.

The shiny regional hatches were rough to me too. I didn’t hatch a shiny regional until the last hour of the third day. I hatched two shiny carnivine that hour.

Took me a while to find a shiny in the eggs. But I will say this was a fun first tour we did. Glad we got to meet for a little and I got you a shiny pachirisu
I got every new shiny that was available in the wild, including shiny Basculin, and hatched over 230 event eggs (mostly 10 kms) and didn’t get a single shiny chatot, pachirisu, or carnivine. I only got a shiny chingling … I am disappointed with the egg shiny rates but I’m still willing to try for them again for global. Hope you enjoyed your time in Los Angeles area, JT!

I think out of everything the one I want the most is the Basculin which will be hard because I dont think I've seen ANY mention of it or Routes during the Global event so it would be disappointing to just not be able to get it. Also the fact that I think I've only ever seen like 5 route spawns since the feature was released doesnt give me a lot of hope.

I found the city experience on the Sunday was really bad for eggs. I had a lot more luck with shinies on Friday and Saturday but I only hatched a mime jr out of probably 180+ eggs on the Sunday. It was really disheartening. Overall I got all the shinies I wanted, except the chatot. I thought the shiny rates were better at the NYC Go Fest but I cannot complain.
I fought my first tentacool Sierra today and I did get the shiny one, so yeah, the thing exists, thats how RNG works I guess. Hope You get Yours soon JT!
Our of the regionals I got the pachirisu and 2 carnivine shiny
I hatched over 300 eggs. Got 6. My mom also had hatch ticket- got 0. She hatched around 60. I thought the rate would be boosted; but just the hatch distance lessened. The rates for raids were even less.

Caught my first nundo today which was a bounsweet 23cp
I did like 130+ raids and I think my odds ended up being 1/26
And no luck with the original palkia or dialga as far as shinies which I didn’t have
And I did a huge amount of eggs I think I got one budew and a carnivine lol

Congrats for your origin Palkia! I got lucky too perfect origin Palkia after couple raids inside Rose Bowl stadium but no Los Angeles background. Real talk...
Ninantic has a way to boost shinies/hundos/shundos for content creators, right? There's just no way that's not going on. I mean, I understand the reasoning...it's advertisement for them and the game but I just wish there were more transparency about this.
And don't get me wrong...I'm very happy for the content creators who get these amazing catches. I'm not bitter abt it or anything. I'm a nobody, I get it. I would just appreciate a bit more disclosure regarding stuff like this.

I hatched a ton of eggs this weekend and I got NOTHING. NOT. ONE. SHINY. Bums me out because I had a bunch of incubators that I had been saving up for a while only to waste them all. Wiped out my reserve, much like what corporate greed is doing to my bank accounts 😅
