I used to love JLo, but she is the most self centered person. Rosie actually hired her.
That`s definitely SHADE.
Why? Because she said they are different person? Not everyone have the same personalities u know, I'm latina and I'm not the same kind of Latina as JLO I don't like the same things and I don't have the same character. Is not Shady is realistic
@@just_me8663 That's probably one of the most ignorant comments I've ever read. It has nothing to do with being Latina. I don't even understand why you would bring that up. In the interview she mocked Rosie and downplayed her acting. She said Rosie only plays waitresses. Did you even watch it? Funny, because if you ask me, JLo is always the same role in every movie. Rosie Perez is a great actress. Women should support other women. Especially when she gave you your first break. And that is my reason. Has nothing to do with being Latina.
I'm not sure if that was Shade towards Rosie but before her it was Rosie who put Latina women on the map!!
And then came Jen who ran circles around her and surpassed her in Hollywood. No shade. But clearly Rosie was not as driven or versatile as Jen.

@@craigfurlow7692 I don't know about "ran circles around" being that Jennifer and Rosie were in 2 completely different fields. Jen was merely successful in lanes that were already open. There's not much that's versatile about Jen as an artist or an actress. The only thing she has on Rosie is her socialite status. Jennifer Lopez is a sell out.

Crazy how JLO is a big fan of Westside Story and Selena was part of a tribute album to Westside Story. Selena got to sing "A Boy Like That."

“Bueno, yo siempre amé los películas musicales. West side story era una película grande para nosotros. Siempre la mirábamos en el día de acción de gracias. Yo creo que eso me motivo a ser cantante y bailarina. Siempre quise ser Anita. Sentía que ese era el papel más adecuado y similar a mi. En el principio cuando fui a Hollywood fui para audicionar para ser una Fly girl. En el principio me quisieron estereotipar por ser latina.

Después de hacer Selena un día iba caminando por la calle y escuché a alguien gritar “Jennifer”. Me volteo a verlo y no lo conocía pero el me conocía a mi. Por más de 20 años de mi vida había podido caminar por la calle sin que nadie me reconociera y de repente ya no podía. Me dio mucha ansiedad por un tiempo hasta que aprendí a cómo superarlo.
Cuando estaba chiquita amaba a Madonna. A la Madonna antes de cortarse el pelo para True Blue. Soy una chica y me encanta arreglarme. Es muy divertido para mi crear looks. No me gusta pasar por desapercibida. Ese no es mi estilo. Quiero algo en que me sienta y vea bien.
Mi cumpleaños #40. Marc, mi esposo y Benny Medina, mi manager me hicieron una fiesta sorpresa muy grande. Nos vestimos y fuimos. Todos mis amigos estaban ahi Fue fantástico. “

I think she’s shown you what kind by how far she’s surpassed her in Hollywood. Rosie limited herself with her thick accent and hoop earrings. Jen was versatile. Just look at the roles she’s played. That simple.
Craig Furlow it’s called acting for a reason. Hoop earrings can be removed! Urban experiences are diverse and roles for ‘urban’ actors don’t have to be stereotypical.
JLo looks tired her. She works so hard and I know it pays off but i still kinda feel sorry for her she is clearly a workaholic there is no way she cant be because she does so much.
