Jan Grabowski is a professor in the Department of History at the University of Ottawa, and a leading scholar of the Holocaust. Professor Grabowski is also the recipient of SSHRC’s 2022 Insight Award. He has dedicated his 30-year career to the history of the Holocaust in Poland. His research includes examining the extermination of Polish Jews, as well as the history of Jewish-Polish relations from 1939 to 1945.

Jan Grabowski est professeur au département d’histoire de l’Université d'Ottawa et spécialiste éminent de l’Holocauste. Le professeur Grabowski est également lauréat du prix Savoir 2022 du CRSH. Il a consacré ses 30 années de carrière à l’histoire de l’Holocauste en Pologne. Ses recherches portent notamment sur l’extermination des Juifs polonais, ainsi que l’histoire des relations entre les Juifs et les Polonais de 1939 à 1945.
