One thing I love about this album is how diverse he gets and how it all fits michigan. it seemed unfair at first to group the entire UP into one song when Flint gets its own, but it works, you know? it truly takes a michigan native to write such michigan-y songs, and that's why i like this album better than illinois. well plus, i too am a michigan native

The guitar part at the end sounds like the main character of this song is trying so hard to play, but his fingers are far too numb from the cold to do anything. Poor guy...
Greatings from Minnesota! My cousin lives in Alger county in the U.P., When I visted Michigan I went all around the U.P. It was awesome! then we visted Detroit..... which was a complete shit hole..... It's time that U.P. became it's own state!
