I think the are so good. he claims pretty healthy but I have read the ingredients list im not to sure about that. they don't have artificial sweeteners but they for sure have a decent amount of sugar.

For those of us non Americans that have been bought up on Lindt, Milka, Guylian even Cadbury.....it tastes waxy and overly sweet, like compound chocolate.

Other day I heard some Mum in the shop say they aren't gonna pay that much for a small bar of chocolate
(It's £2 for 60g which is really expensive when 100g Lindt Bar is £2 for almost double and nobody is feeding Lindt to kids) I am talking about the old bar too so ain't nobody buying it
But US has Hershey's which is miles better thant this overpriced cheap sh*t immmitation
Don't forget about Fererro. That is very fine chocolate too, and it is not even expensive.

I tried the Milk Chocolate and the Peanut Butter versions. I wasn't impressed. To me it tasted like a Hershey Bar with more sugar in it.

I tried their previous bar just last week and It was meh. Now with Jimmy himself literally saying he gave it all he had to create the best bar in the world and all these positive reviews I’m starting to think unlike their previous bars,this one might actually be worth another 9 of my Canadian bucks to try it again. Sounds much more promising than the previous ones💙

American chocolate.. as long as it's better than vomit tasting Hershey's then it's a win.
But you just can't beat European chocolate, especially Lindt.
American 'candy' is vile. I have no idea why Hershey's is popular, perhaps because you grow up with it you get used to it.

If you are a chocolate connoisseur, then there are five simple things you can start out with to identify quality chocolate.
Appearance
Smooth, evenly coloured, and with a sheen. The sheen comes from the mold, as liquid chocolate is poured, tempered and set. When evenly mixed, it will leave the impression of the surface of thge mold on it. It should not have air bubbles, cracks, streaks, or a cloudy appearance. I've noticed this straight way when buying cheaper chocolate is the lack of shine on the surface - even if the manufacturer logo is imprinted on the bar.
Aroma
If you've ever watched a full video on the making of chocolate from cocoa bean to bar, it takes a LONG time.. from picking to fermenting.. a LOT of flavour molecules develop along the way. The reason Aztecs used the beans as currency! They were revered for their flavour and the amount of care, effort and attention required to get them to their final state. Also, chocolate is a relatively new invention. They didn't have sugar or milk originally, so it was flavourful, but incredibly bitter.
So, good chocolate should smell richly of chocolate, with fruity, earthy, or floral undertones.
It should not have overly sugary or vanilla fragrances.
Touch
It should begin to melt to the touch quickly. It's hovering just below room temperature melting. It should be silky, not sticky.
The Snap
When you break a bar, it's supposed to crack. This indicates that it's been tempered amd mixed correctly and has the right ratio of ingredients. Lower quality chocolate contains too much oil or fat - which would make snapping difficult as it would be too soft. Therefore, inferior quality chocolate has a dull sound and crumbles or bends when it is broken.
Texture
It should melt the moment you put it in your mouth. Its flavour and smoothness should instantly strike you. It should feel smooth and velvety in your mouth. If it is gluey, grainy, or waxy, then it has a high vegetable fat content - an indicator of inferior quality chocolate. The flavour should linger for a few minutes after you finish the piece of chocolate.
I wonder if people that say they aren't 'Chocolate people' just haven't experienced the absolute best in what chocolate can be. It's an INCREDIBLE invention and it is really sad that it has been hijacked as a junk food/snack.. a basic cheaply made, full of filler ingredients like fat, sugar and palm oil.. etc. When really, it is one of the pinnacles of human culinary innovation. It takes WEEKS from bean to bar, through fermenting to roasting.

i tried feastable today, i didnt like the peanut butter taste, its taste weird. I love reese peanut butter cups, not what I expected. I tried the milk chocolate and it taste good, but i agree and it feels like any other brand milk chocolate.

The first recipe was literally forgettable, like I genuinely don’t remember what it tasted like. The new recipe however is REALLY good. It tastes very similar to the “World’s Finest Milk Chocolate Bars” that kids give out for school fundraisers. I really love the World’s Finest Milk Chocolate Bars, to me that’s probably the best chocolate I’ve had, so I suppose the new feastable recipe is top 2 chocolate to me. If you love those World’s Finest Milk Chocolate Bars as much as I do, then you’ll love the new feastable recipe.
putting feastables top 2 means you probably never eaten more than one chocolate bar before there a 1000 better options
