Matchbox restoration Centurion Tank Mark III Part 1 Antar Tank Transporter M-3 diecast car.

Lesney produced the Antar Thank transporter model in 1959-1966. My model was very defective. It did not have a tank turret, chassis and caterpillars. I made all these parts from polyurethane resin and flexible polyurethane.

No one would have ever thought that you could take a basic shell as you had in the beginning and hand make all the parts to return it to its former glory. The only thing I saw for improvement would be to get the turret to sit down more seamlessly on the chassis but otherwise, Outstanding restoration!!!!

how do you make the tank chain before casting ?

there are at least several ways. the simplest one, which I use from time to time, is to use a toothed belt from an old computer printer. you can cut the appropriate length and glue them together and make a caterpillar form based on it.
