My dad is bipolar because of some traumas of him and my mom’s relationship. They doesn’t love each other but they aren’t divorcing at least until me and my little brother finish our schools and get a job, our own houses. My dad doesn’t talk to my mother when he is in depression. He talks to me or his best friend. A few days ago he was in his best friend’s house and it was 1 AM. Then he texted me. “Do you remember when we used to hug and cuddle when you were little? Now we’re not that close because of me. I’m sorry, just know i love you.” I was sad because of his words. I thought he was drunk and high so he said all of those. Then, only a minute later he texted me again : “Don’t worry, i’m not drunk and high.”
We used to listen to this song everyday when i was a little girl.

Middle school teacher introduces a new student to the class. His name is Mike. He is a very lively boy and always in a good mood. A girl in her class, Chloe, finds this very irritating and together with some of her friends she starts to force him to do favors (like homework and bring them lunch) but Mike accepts with a smile (😊).
Time passes and Chloe starts teasing him and laughing at him along with her friends, but he laughs too and this infuriates her even more, so she and her friends start bullying him heavily. Every day they find a different way to humiliate Mike but he always ends up with a smile. Chloe feels teased by this and one day...

...she convinces Mike to follow her and her friends to an empty classroom and hits him hard in the stomach. At that moment Mike crouched in pain and began to weep and Chloe felt victorious to have finally broke that irritating smile. Chloe lifted Mike's head expecting a sad face but she was shocked to see that even though Mike was crying, he still managed to smile. Disgusted, Chloe and her friends abandoned him in the empty classroom and they went home.

The next day Mike is absent and Chloe feels proud to have made him understand who is in charge. 2 days later and Mike is still absent. After 5 days, the professor informs the students that Mike's parents were moving to another city and that Mike would no longer attend this school. Chloe infuriated calls Mike a coward loudly, then she exits the classroom.

Chloe knew where Mike lived and she finds his house open, almost empty and full of boxes, but his parents weren't there. She decides to go in to look for Mike so she can insult him for stopping coming to school but in what appears to be his room she finds nothing except an envelope that says "for Chloe".
Confused, Chloe opens the envelope and finds a letter:

I know no one might care but when I listen to music I sometimes create a narrative, like a story that builds off of the song I'm listening too. I'll keep listening to the same song and the story becomes clearer and this song just makes me want to see an animation of a kid in a dim black and white world, trudging through school and as the song builds up to the chorus he is coming home, walking to the backyard to a forest area. Right before the chorus hits that high beat he lays down in the grass, looking at the trees and flowers. During the I oh I part it cuts to the sky, with the kid and the world bursting with colour flying through the sky, seeing wonders and creations of imagination. When the chorus ends it jumps back to him on the ground being called back inside. The song continues and the boy grows older, depressed, empty, no longer colorful. Before the second chorus part, he is walking past his old home and goes to that old spot, laying down. As the chorus hits like before it's him, less colorful but colorful all the same, flying through the air as he feels happy, alive, full. When the chorus is ending with the male and female voice he is getting up, the world colored and he's smiling. He is happy.

I'm the same way! I do the little narrative thing especially when I'm alone and just listening to a song and not doing anything else, but once I've done it I don't forget it.
I feel like mine would kinda be based off of the vacation I went on last month where everything was going as I thought it would, but I then met a girl and after awhile of seeing her I asked her name and we talked for hours that day and went on a couple walks. I feel like the chorus along with the I-oh part both go along so well with the hugs we had when she had to leave and I didn't have to for another couple days, but then we visited her house on the way back so the slower part in the song went well with the time she left, I then cried that night about her, with "Put your wings on me", and the chorus, and then it kinda skips to a replay of the hugs and then the last one for awhile. I felt like shooting across the sky with her but I couldn't
