- Really stoked to get these Military run-flat tires installed on the Humvee. It looks like a beast. It was a lot of work getting the run-flats in the tires but well worth it for the camper! Let me know what you guys think about these tires. Also stay posted for the DIY camper conversion. It's going to be an offered beast.

Make sure to check the date stamp on the new tires - it is common for them to sell "new" tires that are aged out. This is a point of controversy in the on-line universe - but you want to shy away from tires more than six years old - some will say Military are good for 10. We have limited access to 16.5 tires that are 37. Interco makes some as well - but otherwise we are stuck with the Military tires.
Also important fact without the run flat gel added that tire wont last 2 minutes without air in it
Goodyear marks the "heavy spot" on those new tires with a RED dot of paint. The RED dot is then aligned 180 degrees "opposite" the inflation valve fitting. Also, noticed the 3rd screw-band Clamp has been left off the Air Filter Housing. Oh, one last thing, did you discover the cooling system drain cock yet?🙄
Our run flats are always a pain to change and keep balanced.

Feltz would actually install the runflats for $30 a tire, but those new tires looking nice, make sure your alignment is good, I ran through my front 2 in about a year because I didn't get my alignment done

Forgot the runflat lube/juice it looks like (unless it was off camera). Hope you don't actually have to drive on the runflats - it'll smoke like crazy.

There is a special ratchet tool to do this and is very inexpensive to buy
