In the blood-soaked scrolls of Demon lore, a chilling tale unfolds - the origin of Doma, the flamboyant Upper Rank Two. It's not a melody for minstrels, but a discordant symphony of obsession and despair. It recounts the descent of a once-devout monk, forever bound to a grotesque hunger.
Doma wasn't always a demon. He was born with a rare condition, his eyes shimmering with an unnatural rainbow glow. Deemed blessed by the heavens, he was raised as a holy man within the Eternal Paradise Cult. Yet, beneath his pious facade, a darkness festered - an insatiable fascination with beauty.
Akari, a young woman famed for her stunning features, joined the cult as a novice. Doma, enthralled by her radiance, became fixated. He saw her not as a follower, but as a living canvas, a physical embodiment of the beauty he craved to possess eternally. He showered her with attention, his piety masking a growing obsession.
One fateful night, a plague swept through the cult, a silent reaper claiming life with icy fingers. Akari, despite her youthful vitality, succumbed to the illness. Doma, consumed by an unholy grief, felt his meticulously constructed piety crumble. His faith could not save her, his love could not reach her.
Driven by a twisted desperation, Doma remembered a forbidden scripture whispered amongst the older monks. Tales of a being who could defy death, who could manipulate flesh and form. With trembling hands, Doma delved into the forbidden texts, a dark pact forming in his mind.
He summoned Kibutsuji, the progenitor of demons, sacrificing his humanity for a twisted chance to save Akari. Transformed into a demon, Doma rushed to her side, his newfound power surging through his veins. But it was too late. Akari lay still, her vibrant beauty dimmed by the cold touch of death.
Tears, a grotesque parody of human emotion, welled up in Doma's inhuman eyes. In a moment of monstrous clarity, he realized the horrifying truth: the power he craved wasn't resurrection, but a twisted consumption. His hunger, fueled by the essence of Kibutsuji, demanded life force.
Driven by a warped sense of possession and a hunger that gnawed at his very core, Doma did the unthinkable. He consumed Akari, hoping to preserve her beauty within him. But the act only served as a catalyst, awakening a ravenous hunger that could never be satiated.
From that day forth, Doma craved the beauty and life force found abundantly in young women. They became grotesque reminders of Akari, a constant echo of his betrayal and the twisted love that birthed his demonic hunger. Now, Doma, the fallen monk, exists as a flamboyant shell, forever haunted by the ghost of his obsession and a hunger that can never be truly appeased.
