Earth Day 2024 and an Update on our Net Zero Path

As part of Spectris, PMS has Net Zero goals of:
• 85% reduction of Scope 1 /2 (energy use, direct) emissions and net zero emissions by 2030
• 42% absolute reduction of Scope 3 / indirect (the stuff we buy, how we ship it, how our instruments are used and disposed, etc.) by 2030 and Net Zero by 2040
• Zero waste to landfill before 2030
These are very ambitious goals and we have been working hard on them across all areas. Some of our major achievements over the last few years include:
• Solar in Wattwil, Switzerland office in 2022
• 100% green energy at 100% of our offices
• 38% of our fleet converted to EV or hybrid vehicles
• Product life cycle analysis project in 2023
• LED lighting in all offices and timed heating/ lighting where appropriate
• 40% reduction in measurable waste in Boulder in 2023
• Silver Ecovadis received at PMS in 2023
• 38% of our supplier buy now participating in Ecovadis
We know we have a ways to go, but we are staying focused and have a strong plan forward.
