I remember a story that Chris told me in the '80s. His Mom signed him up for piano lessons. He did well but wanted to play guitar. When he talked to her about it she said 'No way, you will probably grow up and be a drug and alcohol addled rock star' . He said 'Hey, look at me now '.
Imagined if Chris would of made that comment about Slash on "the view". OMG! ...those yenta's would of all shrieked and threw their hands up in the air, a few if not all would of fainted ...interview would have ended right there, Chris would have been told to leave immediately ...hate crimes and criminal charges would have been discussed, etc., etc.

Very cool how he basically admits Robbin Crosby kicked his ass. They were both giants and I can guess that chris being a vulgar and bad dude and Robbin being a notorious sweetheart....chris probably disrespected someone who was scared of them so robbin probably if I had to guess was sticking up for someone. Crosby had about an inch of height and 30 lbs on chris....god bless both of those rock and roll warriors!

@Randy Walters Well, here's an undeniable fact: the man was part (if not a driving force) of a groundbreaking (music/fashion) movement almost 40 years ago! Back then it provoked large parts of society and its influences can be seen up to this very day! Both in music and lifestyle. He has several albums to his name that defined a musical genre and went gold. Consequently he toured all over he world. On top of all of that, the one video-interview he gave to Mrs. Spheeris... No need to even go there, right? Now one might not like any of it, but that is a different story. In summary one cannot help the conclusion: that's pretty damn legendary! In its very own right.
