The Ball show continues and this year his partner in crime will be 4-star guard Rocket Watts. Together they form what could be the most entertaining backcourt in high school basketball this year!

He will be one of the top 3 point guards in the 2020 draft class. He is a good faciltator has the skill set, size, length, high bb IQ and the ability to defend positions 1-4 at the next level. Notice how him joining Rocket has only increased Rockets Numbers! @@HiMyNameIsJonathan

Robert Howell he was playing guard, so he should naturally be good at open threes. There really wasn't that much risk, and I've seen NBA players do the same.
Robert Howell I do agree it was riskier, but take into consideration that this was a completely open shot coming from a good pass. If we assume he has curry's 3 point percentage, then we can also conclude that he has the same open 3/practice percentage, which is well over 44%. I completely agree it wasn't completely worth it, but sometimes low reward is worth the risk.

I don't know, LaMelo has a lot of trick passes in the open court and can sink an open shot from behind the three, but he is not as big, powerful or muscular as some of his teammates, which shows up in his defense. He is fun to watch but he may just lack some fundamentals and covers that up with glitzy moves. Reminds me a little of Adam Morrison. This might even become a problem in high level Division I. He needs to grow taller or more muscular, probably both and then work on his half court game.
