I always see that one group of people that comment "This sounds generic" and things like that...
Let me remind you that this is just music, this isnt technology, this isnt medicine or anything like that, please erase the idea of every new band having to be groundbreaking to be good and just enjoy the music.
TheHuricange when you order spaghetti at one restaurant, and then another, you don't want both to use the exact same ingredients in the same quantities. Give your band a little flavor. Although they don't really have a choice tbh. They're indentured servants right now
it is generic tbh, it's just post-hardcore and little bit of rap thrown into, but i still like the song despite hating rap.

The metal vocals just kill a lot of interest very quickly. I don't think they're bad but I'm glad they have a guy doing strictly clean vocals now. I love the clean vocals over heavy riffs thing more

+Woe Is Jake Metalcore can be original its a great genre, but there is no point to listening to the same shit over and over again though and thats exactly what this is....its literally only chugging, double bass, and power chords on the chorus with tons "woaahahhhhhahhhh *genric lyric* woooaahhhh". This shits like pancakes without syrup. The band your name is based off of is much better (but only there first album..lol).

Those dudes know how to mix genres. They were already pro at mixing Metalcore and Pop, but then they were like fuck it lets add a country sound to it by throwing some violins and a country singer in the mix. Good shit coming from those guys. Oh and yeah only the beginning of Woe Is Me was anything special. Once Tyler left it was just bleh.

No this is not. This was written by Eric but due to these guys just wanting to go straight into touring and Eric not wanting that Eric left, before they made this song. So after Eric left they got this guy in and did the song without Eric. Watch Backwordz Be Great. It explains it all.
