{321} How To Calculate Switching Frequency for UC3842 / 3843 /3844 /3845 Oscillator Frequency. i explained in urdu hindi language. The UC3842 / 3843 / 3844 / 3845 oscillator can be programmed by selecting timing capacitor CT and timing resistor RT. CT is charged from VREF (5V) through the timing resistor RT, and discharged by an internal current source. The first step in selecting the oscillator components is to determine the required circuit dead-time. Then to pinpoint selection of the nearest standard value of CT for a given dead-time. Next, the appropriate RT value is interpolated using the parameters for CT and oscillator frequency. RT/CT combinations versus oscillator frequency can be adjusted by the selection chart provided in the datasheet. The timing resistor can be calculated from the following formula.
Fosc (kHz) = 1.72 / (RT (k) × CT (pf))
3842 & 3842 will provide the same switching frequency which is programmed at RT/CT pin (pin number 4) but The 3844 and 3845 have an internal divide-by-two flip-flop driven by the oscillator for a 50% maximum duty cycle. Therefore, the output switching frequency will half than the oscillator frequency at pin number 4 of the IC. The UC3842 and UC3843 oscillator runs AT the switching frequency. Each oscillator of the UC3842/3/4/5 family can be used to a maximum of 500 kHz.

hello bro…sometime it becomes very hard to repair the original power supply which having smd ic 3842-2468 because of track damage or actual smd resistance code. so can you please make a video in which you describe how to set up a pulsing 3842 circuit which i can directly attach to the mosfet and driver a head start producing magnetic field. please give us a circuit so that i can make that on seprate plate and can attach that in my actual supply.
there are some 3 wire or 5 wire mini mosfet boxes available but they are not long lasting items…

salam brother.i never build and flyback smps.i use uc3844 .my mosfet is 500 d.s .my snubber is rcd but like many of schemas resistor 5k or 10k.but resistor is been desroyed.if resistor be very big snuber does not imapctable. 😭😭😭

श्री मान, eबाइक चार्जर है जिसमें 1602 ,8 पिन smd ic लगा है जो मार्केट में नहीं मिल रहा, ईसकी जगह 3843 ic मोड्यूएल लगा दिया, वह 1 दिन चलकर मोस्फीट ic खराब हो गया क्या इस 1602 आईसी और 3843 आईसी में फ्रीक्वेंसी का फर्क रहा की 3843 वाला मोड्यूएल नहीं चला, इस 1602 ic की फ्रीक्वेंसी नापकर हम 3843 वाला मोड्यूएल लगा सकते हैं जो की एक अपना ही ड्राइवर सर्किट है जिसमे c t कैपस्टर 103 rt 6k2 है।अगर हम इनको एडजेस्ट कर के किसी भी ic की जगह लगा सकते हैं
