I AX my model 3 and used to put my tires in the back seat with the seat back down. I don’t do it anymore since the races I go to are about an hour away plus I set up the car at home and lower it and the stock tires won’t fit. It’s easier for me to just drive there, go through tech and get ready to run!
Like your videos. Been doing auto cross my model 3 for just over two years, huge enjoyment. Finally starting to see more come to Houston events.
thanks!
New M3P owner here. Great video thank you
go forth, be silent but deadly
Hi,
For drag racing, what track mode setting do you recommend and what tire pressure? Factory 20" Überturbine rims with 245/35/20 tires. My best result so far is 11.670 in ¼ mile, no Track mode, 2.8 bar tire pressure, Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires.
I havent tried drag racing it but i in general the Traction Control is terrible so i would turn that off. I would also disable the parking brake hold. I cant remember if there is a setting or if you have to gently rock the car to stop it from engaging. That should help with 60'. The stock rims are super heavy and terrible in general imo. ive been dailying 255/35/19s on Forgestar F14s 19x8.5 for a year now with no issues and just a bit of a range hit. I think it doesnt help that much with acceleration as the computer compensates but the lighter wheels help alot for drive-ability and might help a bit in drag racing.
What autocross are you running in Florida?
