8V S3 Mods: Milltek Cat-Back Exhaust & APR 4 Piece Intake [with before and after sounds]

- Improve the exhaust and intake sound of your 8V S3 with some additional power, torque and boost response too with this intake and exhaust upgrade package!
This customer dropped off their 8V S3 FL wanting to enjoy an increase in performance which fell in line with his insurance specifics. Unfortunately, an ECU upgrade would increase the premium by a lot BUT bolt-ons like an intake and exhaust wouldn't.
To get the best performance increase without an ecu upgrade/remap, a 4-piece intake was installed. This customer opted for the rare APR open cone carbon fibre intake, APR carbon fibre inlet pipe, APR turbo inlet elbow and APR turbo muffler delete. These 4 parts fully de-restrict the intake, improving power, torque and boost response with the added benefit of more engine roar and turbo sounds!
For an improved exhaust note and improved rear-end aesthetic the Milltek Cat-Back exhaust with Cerekote Black tips was installed. This frees up the hidden exhaust tone and volume whilst improving the rear-end aesthetic too.

I never comment on videos but this video has just really really impressed me. I have the exact same car and I have searching all of CZcams on mods that I might want to carry out in the near future. @@RegalAutosport Your very welcome, credit where it’s definitely due. And your videos are just greatly explained. For example on this video you showed the comparisons of what the car sounds like in stock exhaust with the different drive modes which a lot of channels just completely miss the point of. The whole point we’re here is because we most likely have these cars and we’re looking for info etc

i just installed miltek catback for my TTS MK3, the DSG fart became more quieter than the stock, it feels like lost power. i spent $2500 and it's not worth it.
Sorry to hear that! It would be worth checking the installation, we've never experienced that!
Did you manage to dyno it before & after? Curious to know what's the impact before tuning it :)
That wasn't on the job spec for this as the customer didn't request it, we can for sure do it if the customer requests for it.

Can just only install the milltek exhaust? or it’s must come with the 4 pieces intake?
